Cool. Good O-linemen very rarely get traded at the deadline, but go off, king.

Cool. Brad Holmes is willing to overpay for unproven commodities in Broderic Martin and Isaac Tesla, but not an interior lineman when his team's offense is predicated on the oline. No one was suggesting they give up a first round pick for one, but rebuilding teams like the Browns and Jets might have been willing to make a trade at the right price. Did we get a media report of the Lions being after one? All I remember was the report saying we were inquiring about a defensive player from Cincinnati.

What if the price for a good O-lineman was a 1st rounder? What then?

Your point about Holmes burning draft capital on draft reaches is solid, but it has nothing to do with acquiring an O-lineman at the deadline.

It feels like the staff came out not confident in the offense and hoping the defense could play overly aggressive and come up with an early splash play. Did not work that way.

It was good to see Gibbs break one. I still believe the offense needs to run more through Montgomery. He is capable of explosive plays too (70+ yarder vs. Ravens) and it feels like the offense gets swagger from blocking for him.

Just horrible play calling out of halftime.  Campbell is calling some really dreadful offense.   And why aren’t we attempting a FG?  It was a 60 yarder.  Again, the coaching errors are becoming difficult to overcome.

If the was the asking price and it gets accurately reported as such then I would agree with Holmes, depending on the player. If it's a top Gaurd, who is under 27-28, and could be under team control for a 3-4 seasons I might consider that. But in all likelihood, I'm not trading a 1st. We don't know if they even asked though.
