buddha Posted Tuesday at 07:26 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:26 PM i know duren has a bad rep around here, but he's an elite rim runner and continues to develop his offensive game. his free throw % indicates to me that a mid range jumper is possible in his future. he fits in perfect IN THE REGULAR SEASON. without a consistent jumper and without the ability to defend a perimeter center, he might still be a playoff liability. Two of his biggest games were against Washington and Indiana. The Bulls and 76ers were the next two. So probably need more data against better competition. But the way JB has slashed his minutes the last two games tells me we might not get that data. Quote

He is as bad on defense as he is good on offense. His defense has been bolstered by the fact Stew has played quite a few minutes next to him. The Piston's weak schedule also means Duren has been going up against weak big men rotations. The only good bigs he has faced were Houston and Cleveland. I think he had something like 14 points combined against those teams. Although, he only played 12 mins in the Houston game because he got ejected. I do see quite a few Pistons fans saying he will get a max contract this summer. That would be a disaster. 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted Tuesday at 08:12 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:12 PM Boston might regret not pulling the trigger on a White trade. He is shooting 35% from the field and 30% from three. Quote
Deleterious Posted Tuesday at 10:41 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:41 PM Duren received some player of the week votes. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted Wednesday at 08:46 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:46 PM I don't care what their record is, winning in Boston isn't easy. They have a huge home court advantage. Quote
Deleterious Posted Wednesday at 10:37 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:37 PM I would give up this year's 1st round pick for Pritchard. secondary ball handler, usually shoots better than 40% from three. Plays decent enough defense. No clue if he's available or not. But Boston still has some work to do to get under the luxury tax. The Pistons could use their TPE they created in the Schroeder trade and not have to send any salary back to Boston. If they did that they could even consider trading Robinson. Try to use his contact to improve the backup PF spot. Quote
Deleterious Posted Wednesday at 10:48 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:48 PM Duren lol how did he give up a wide open three and foul the shooter at the same time? Quote
Deleterious Posted Wednesday at 11:18 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:18 PM Lol Thompson with the pull up 40 footer to end the half and put Detroit up 1. Quote

Deleterious Posted Wednesday at 11:36 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:36 PM Celtics have to be one of the worst rebounding teams in the league. Quote

Deleterious Posted Thursday at 12:52 AM Posted Thursday at 12:52 AM The Celtics have a G-League big rotation. Where was Duren tonight? A guy wanting to get paid should have dominated that game. Quote
