If the Pistons were to have an open roster spot, would you consider Chris Paul just for the experience factor?  I wouldn’t alter the rotation for him, he fits in where he fits in.  And maybe he doesn’t want that end of the bench.  But maybe he’s at a point where he isn’t picky, a playoff run is better than nothing for him?

i remember when there was an argument that the pistons should have taken mobley over cade.  i dont think anyone is making that argument any more.

yeah - I'll admit it, I was afraid Cade was going to end up a 'tweener' not big enough for a power game, not fast enough to be a great slasher, and a mediocre shooter. Instead he's turned out to be just about at the sweet-spot; and the shooting - good enough at clutch time if not always so much early in games.

Mobley's about what he was supposed to be, if he could stay on the court

That was one of the best non-Pistons games I have seen in a few years. Wemby being back is obviously huge. In 21 minutes he had 22 pts and 9 boards and his +/- was +21. Just a great game to watch and enjoy

A lot of complaining about the end of last night's game and the Spurs fouling up 3. People want a rule change.

Was a great game but the last 2 minutes of a close NBA game are just painful. Must have taken at least 15 minutes to play the last couple minutes last night. Takes all the excitement and intesity out of it. Compare that with the last few minutes of a close NFL game, even with timeouts.

Someone on Reddit said the last 10 seconds took over 11 minutes to play in real time.  That's a problem.

I did want the Pistons to trade down from 1 to 3, get additional assets, and also likely drafting Mobley at 3.

The Cavs are an interesting team.  They are $22 million over the 2nd apron.  Next year, they are already $17 million over the 2nd apron with only 11 players signed.  So this was pretty much their last year to make a run, considerable changes were coming this summer no matter what.  Now you wonder if they maybe start breaking it up at the trade deadline if they are around .500 to save some money.  Either way, I would guess Garland and Allen are gone this summer.

Bad news is, they have no picks until 2030.  Every pick is either traded or swapped.  So they don't have a way to add cheap talent.

Must be frustrating for Cavs fans (love it!). Also with watching coach JB's Pistons thriving

That 2nd apron is a killer. Trajan has stressed cap flexibility since his first day, but that's about to be more of a challenge with some big extensions coming up.

if mobley is healthy, the cavs are one of the top 3 teams in the east come playoff team.  lots of time left in the season.

Not sure how true that is.  Even if it is, you don't go $22 million into the 2nd apron to be the third-best team in the east.
