It's not like it will be his last. I think then it would have mattered more.

He probably didn't want it hanging over his head. But I was surprised to hear he's never had a regular season short handed goal.

You got to be willing to spend energy on defense to play the PK. Not exactly something you could say was important for him for a long time.

I think he knew it could be another dozen games before he scored again. Might as well get it over with.

It looks like the most he ever PK'ed was 13 total minutes back in 08-09.....I'm honestly surprised  he racked up that much time in a single season.  I legit assumed he just never did it.
