Huerter has been really good in limited minutes and now with more opportunity recently. I like him quite a bit more than Levert even though Levert provides a bigger need with shot creation. Hopefully this trend continues of more Huerter and less Levert.

Agreed. And Cade as an MVP? To me, an MVP is a player a team can't win without. And the Pistons have a 9-3 record without Cade. He's a very important part of our team but we're not dependent on any one (or 2, 3 or 4) player(s) to win. Credit has to go to our coaching staff...

The guy not shooting 29% from three on the season.

Yeah... I know that's bad...

But he seems a bit more athletic, maybe age (27 versus 31) is an advantage there... a bit more defensively, a bit more of a playmaker/ passer than Duncan. And he shot 39-ish percent his first 5, even 6 seasons in the NBA.

And then went very inconsistent after that point.

So is he really a 29% shooter...?

Or is he really a 39% shooter that struggled for crappy teams the past 1 1/2 years?

I don't know the answer to that.

I'm asking what other's impressions are? Is he more athletic? A better defender? A better ball-handler/ passer/ playmaker?

But lastly, to your point (and probably most importantly as per your comment): Can he fix his 3-point shot?

Teeny tiny sample size: 5 for his last 10.

From 2018 through 2023-24 season:

2,335 3 PT shots, 891 made = 38.2%.

I think that's still in there...

Robinson will never be replaced unless his replacement can equal his shooting.

If you replace him with a ****ty shooter like Huerter it might as well be Ron and get some defensive value.

Timberwolves might be the most disappointing team of the season.  Back to back conference finals appearances and they are going to be on the road to start the playoffs? 

Not sure how they fix it.  Their pick is in the 20s, Gobert is getting older, Randle clearly isn't the 2nd guy they wanted him to be.  They really miss NAW.  No cap space to work with.

Houston might challenge them for most disappointing I guess.
