Betrayer Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM Great response in the third to put it away early. Ausar showed why you need to play him as many minutes as he can handle. Even the 28 he played tonight wasn't enough and hopefully he gets 30+ next game if he can stay out of foul trouble. He changes the game and was a +24 on the court. Next game you have to cut down the turnovers (22). Cade had 7 alone. Without that this would have been an absolute pummeling. They also shot 58% from the free throw line and 23% from three which is terrible. There's a lot of room for improvement on the offensive end in a game they won by 15 because of their defense which held Orlando to a season low 83. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted yesterday at 02:04 AM Posted yesterday at 02:04 AM The Pistons 3rd quarters this season are legendary. Its almost to the point that when they don't dominate, it's a surprise. We need a win in Orlando to take back home court advantage. Quote
NYLion Posted yesterday at 12:08 PM Posted yesterday at 12:08 PM That was more like Pistons basketball fueled by a defensive barrage in the 3rd but still so many concerns. Duren can show up anytime now and the bench outside of Stew (who I consider a 6th starter anyway) was invisible again. Not sure why Sasser and BBall Paul aren't getting any minutes when others are struggling but I digress. Anyway, much needed win and now off to Disney World. Quote

DTroppens Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I had to cover a sporting event and I got to my car late in the second quarter. Heard the score, heard Champion pretty much saying the Pistons were playing mighty well but the Magic just weren't hitting shots and it's scary how it was still tied. So I get home, my wife has me do something outside before I get in to watch the game. I walk in and the Pistons are up 15. It almost blew my brain. 🙂 It's nice to see it's still possible to hold a team to 38-point halves in an NBA playoff game. Quote
