He has been bad but his teammates failed him. He has as many three pointers as the rest of the team combined

They did fail him. What I meant by my post was both he and his teammates played like dog crap.

I know he has no help but Cade is overrated guys. He's not a true star, very good player but not a star that takes over games. For this reason, you have to let go of Duren and Ausar because he needs a lot of help and neither of these two is it. Good thing that the playoffs exposed this before they did something foolish like max Duren which they might still do but it would be a big mistake.

The Pistons MVP sure isn't much of a factor in big playoff games. Maybe find some scoring help this offseason?

We did just about everything wrong tonight. Missed 3s, missed free throws, turnovers, sloppy passes, missing open lanes, you name it.  I'm no basketball head, but Jalen Duren played his way out of a decent contract this series for sure. This should cement that he won't get a max deal.

IDK, he's still only 22 years old. I wouldn't give it to him but the Pistons might.

keep ausar and trade duren.

its too late though.  trajan sat on his ass and did nothing to help the team.  now he's stuck with this core, which is about to get prohibitively expensive.
