I expect this number to increase dramatically as the playoffs continue.  Take the ball out of Cade’s hands and make him exert energy off ball just to get open.  Also, force other players to get involved in the offense and hope they are quick to take the first look.

Agreed on your second point. They do need to ask JB why we haven't gone after Harden with Tobias or set screens using Tobias when Harden is guarding him. But, adding strategic wrinkles into games isn't really JB's specialty so he'd probably just shrug.

I think you can catch them off guard with it and cause a turnover, but I don't see it working consistently with Cleveland because they don't have the perimeter length/defenders to really pull it off. Also, I would hope the Pistons have seen enough Cade traps to make people pay for it with Ausar or Duren initiating a 4 on 3 from the top of the key once they have the advantage. Especially against Cleveland whose guards won't rotate and recover fast enough.
