You may have hope.... "Yaxel Lendeborg could have a fascinating draft night. Teams have two big concerns: his age (he’ll be 24 by the time he makes his NBA debut) and his immaturity, which was one of the reasons his stock was less secure last season and led to him enrolling at Michigan. He could still get picked in the back half of the lottery, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if he falls into the teens and not a total shock if he’s available in the 20s. Deleterious Posted June 23 Posted June 23 Yaxel being there at 21 wouldn't completely shock me. Older players tend to drop a bit on draft night. Quote
Betrayer Posted June 23 Posted June 23 I'd rather have Carr, but if you get Yaxel at 21 that's a nice draft. I doubt it though, at this point all we're dealing with are pre-draft smokescreens. Yaxel goes no later than 15. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 23 Posted June 23 Yaxel is fine if he falls to 21 but do not give up anything to move up for him. Huge pass on Carr. Big pass on all of the small guards too. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 23 Posted June 23 Spears reporting New Orleans might move Murphy to Golden State with the 11th pick being involved. He said it depends on if anyone Joe likes is still on the board at 11. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 23 Posted June 23 I'm going to buy an NBA team and my strategy for building the roster will be to trade with Joe every draft night. 2 Quote
Deleterious Posted June 23 Posted June 23 This won't shock a single Pistons fan. The player that NO is rumored to be after? Nate Ament. Quote
Shinzaki Posted June 23 Posted June 23 Yaxel would be a nice fit for us...as would Johnson if Stew is getting moved. Mara is getting buzz because everyone wants a Wemby killer, but there are questions around his stamina. One big I like but not at 21 is Veesaar from UNC.. good outside shooter Quote

Deleterious Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Bust your ass for 19 years to become the #1 pick in the draft and your reward is going to the Washington Wizards. 1 Quote

Dallas has Gafford/Lively at C and Flagg at PF. Drafting a backup at 9 in a deep draft doesn't seem like a smart pick. Quote

Deleterious Posted June 24 Posted June 24 One bullet dodged with Yaxel going to GSW. Now someone **** up and take Carr and I can turn this thing off. 1 Quote
NYLion Posted June 24 Posted June 24 The Hawks and Warriors were apparently two of the main suitors for Murphy with these picks so maybe there's an opening for the Pistons to make a pitch now. Quote
buddha Posted June 24 Posted June 24 aday mara. bench warmer at ucla. comes to michigan and he's a lottery pick. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Mara is a bad pick for OKC but you kinda gotta trust Presti I guess. Slow bigs like him are not how you play Wemby. Quote
Betrayer Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Pick 14 and on...time to start thinking about trading up for Carr. Quote
