Deleterious Posted June 19 Author Posted June 19 Only shot of LA going after Duren is if Lebron leaves. Even then it depends on what happens with Reaves a little bit. If Lebron leaves and Reaves signs an offer sheet LA matches, they won't have the cap space to sign Duren. If Lebron leaves and Reaves and LA agree to a new deal, they could put of signing him and keep his smaller cap hold to go after Duren, then sign Reaves after Duren comes into the fold. Probably doesn't matter since all indications are Detroit is matching anything Duren gets anyway. Quote

Deleterious Posted June 20 Author Posted June 20 The peak value for Giannis ship sailed two years ago. He will be 32 this season and has a game that is dependent on athleticism. It's not like he has a sweet jumper to fall back on as he ages. He also makes a massive amount of money and will want to be extended at another massive number. On top of all that, he had multiple non-contact lower leg injuries last season. You are now in salvage mode. 1 Quote

Deleterious Posted June 22 Author Posted June 22 I predicted this a week or two ago. Love it. Trade away your 1st round pick with zero protection. Then trade your best player to get it back. How the **** did Joe build that 2004 team. Quote

Who's staying there without an overpay after that many years of losing in a cold state that isn't tax free? They probably just want to sell some tickets and not be at the bottom of the league next year. Quote

Deleterious Posted June 22 Author Posted June 22 The one saving grace for Washington. Their draft picks have been so bad they really don't have any big extensions coming up. So the can afford to overpay Young Quote
