monkeytargets39 Posted June 14 Posted June 14 (edited) Well Jose Ramirez broke a bone in his hand Saturday. On the one hand I’m glad I don’t have to watch him beat up on us, but on the other hand-he’s one of the players in the league that I respect the most despite hating him for what he does to the Tigers Edited June 14 by monkeytargets39 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted June 14 Posted June 14 This is just about as close to a must win game in June as it can get. A win will still keep us...kinda close. A loss will make our hole even deeper. We may have to settle for a wildcard... Quote

A future Hall of Famer. We've pretty much held him in check this series but you're right, he has beaten up on us (and many other teams.) I'm not sure how long he'll be out but the Guardians will really miss him. Quote
IdahoBert Posted June 14 Posted June 14 I’m sure the Guardians will miss him but heck, this team didn’t miss losing the best closer in the game. There is of course, a big difference between a position player and a closer but still. Cleveland always seem to have some trick up their sleeves. As much as I don’t like them, I really respect what they’ve accomplished. GO TIGERS! Quote

Edman85 Posted June 14 Posted June 14 What am I missing, weather-wise? The radar looks like they can play? Nothing compared to the storm they are playing PGA Tour golf to on the other side of the lake in Suburban Toronto... Quote

IdahoBert Posted June 14 Posted June 14 By September 4, the Tigers will have risen to the occasion and will be beating on the door of a .510 winning percentage which will probably be enough. Quote
Edman85 Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Still not raining in Cleveland, but a pretty nasty storm is rolling through in about an hour or so. Quote
