He's always annoyed me because I think he should be posting numbers similar to that all the time. But he only has a hot month or two of that...

And then so far underperforms that he's constantly closer to negative WAR than a dynamic hitter... between his subpar fielding and subpar batting... I think he should at least be a much more dynamic hitter, closer to his rare hot streaks than his constant flirtation with the Mendoza line.

IMO.

Here's a wild wicked will never happen:

Trade Carpenter, Meadows, Tork, Jansen and a couple secondary minor leaguers (IE: one of Valencia or Max Anderson or Hao Yu Lee) to the Padres for Mason Miller and Adrian Morejon.

I thought that one up...
