Whatever was going on with Jobe there, I hope he’s able to make a correction next time out. There’s gonna be plenty of bumps in the road for Jobe coming back from the surgery. 1 Quote

Melton better be on his game tomorrow, because Sunday is a really bad pitching matchup for Detroit. Jobe has talent, but he is still inexperienced and coming off an injury, so I don't know that any game he pitches is a good matchup yet. Quote

Urquidy was going to get the majority of the innings for the Sox. That's pretty much a good matchup for any team. Saturday, Kay is a quality starter and on Sunday, Burke is emerging as a legit ace. Tiger337 Posted Saturday at 12:44 AM Posted Saturday at 12:44 AM Max Clark may be the most exciting baserunner the Tigers have had since Kirk Gibson. It's fun watching him leg out triples. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 12:45 AM Posted Saturday at 12:45 AM Back in Northeast Indiana, where I grew up there was a time when we would’ve called this game “being taken to the woodshed.” Of course no one had woodsheds anymore in the late 1950s, but it was a phrase that was still used. Quote

Adullin Posted Saturday at 01:21 AM Posted Saturday at 01:21 AM Announcers keep saying that Chicago keeps hitting the balls right down the middle of the plate like that's amazing thing. Quote

It's fun watching him leg out triples. I read he went from the batters box to third on his triple in 12 seconds (a week ago?). Is that in the ballpark (no pun intended) to the stat and scouting reports? Edited Saturday at 01:37 AM by Screwball Quote
romad1 Posted Saturday at 01:38 AM Posted Saturday at 01:38 AM I'm worried Dingler might need rest. 1 Quote
