Curacao just became the smallest nation ever to qualify for the World Cup.  Their country has less people than Grand Rapids.

Makes Cape Verde, who recently qualified from Africa, look like a giant with a population of 500,000.

I'll be honest, I wouldn't have known where to put Curacao on the map. 50 miles north of Venezuela.

We spent a delightful day in Caruacao this  Spring as part of a cruise package.  They are proud of their collection of baseball major leaguers. Andruw Jones, Ozzie Allies, Kenley Jensen, Jonathan Schoop, Jurickson Profar among others.

Also one of my favorite descriptive salutations comes from there. Dushi....as in everything is Dushi
