    They just had a shot of the dugout and it’s pretty funny how, now that’s he struck out a hitter in the major league game, they’re showing Jake Rogers explaining to Tarik Skubal and Jack Flaherty how to strike out hitters in a major league game.

    It’s unfortunate that Torkelson made the last out in the eighth because I was kind of hoping that he would come up in the ninth and somehow manage to hit a meaningless grand slam, but even that is now pretty remote…

    I knew Nick Castellanos was a really bad defender, but I didn’t realize he was this bad: he ranks seventh in lowest defensive WAR of all time among players who have played at least 95% of their career games at defensive positions (i.e., not DH). And it doesn’t help that his OPS+ is the second worst on list that’s visible here.
