Just in case there are people here who haven't seen this little nugget of awesomeness.

There’s nothing fun about Iowa. They are like the furniture in a grandparents living room.

I would also think that these high profile free agents are looking for teams that consistently make the playoffs and have a realistic shot at going deep into the playoffs. This would be a hard sell for Detroit right now.

If Michigan loses and Florida St. and Texas both win, that's a problem, even if Georgia beats Alabama. While I usually love college football chaos, I think it's best for Michigan if there's no chaos this weekend. If Georgia, Michigan, Washington and Florida St. all win, that's a winnable semi-final for Michigan. An Alabama upset over Georgia would be bad in that respect, because it could set up a #1 Michigan for a semi against an SEC opponent.

I was as excited and full of hope and optimism as anyone when Harbaugh first came to Michigan. Then after 5 years of no wins over Ohio State, multiple blowouts against the Buckeyes, a losing record to MSU, no conference championships, a terrible bowl record, no CFB playoff appearances, a seeming unwillingness or inability to develop his own QB, keeping Don Brown around for 3 years too long, etc. all chipped away at my faith in the man. When we lost that 2021 game to State I wanted Harbaugh fired after that loss in East Lansing. I was posting here, telling friends, calling into 97.1 begging for Michigan to fire what I thought was a bum of a head coach. I literally wanted him left off the team bus and forced to get his own ride home back to Ann Arbor. I wanted a press conference announcing his firing one week and the hiring of Luke Fickell the next. Turns out, I was wrong about Jim Harbaugh. He did indeed turn it around in a very meaningful and impactful way. He rebuilt this program into a powerhouse and is potential on his way to a third straight CFB playoff. Thank you for turning it around Jim and for proving me wrong.

After conference championships, my predictions are for the semis. Next week’s rankings are as useful as preseason rankings. 🙂

My pet peeve: pockets, or rather the lack of them. I wish it was possible to search for a winter coat based on how many pockets it has.

So, I'm driving into the facility where I work. Its drizzling and cold. I have U-M plates on my car. Security guard checks my badge and drops a "Go Buckeyes" on me. I just sort of nod at him and grin. Under my grin is the satisfaction that I'm in my car driving into a heated building to work and his OSU degree (of course he doesn't have a degree) got him a job in the sleet.

Sometimes you just need not bother posting. Even you can't take away from a huge win.
