  1. Stormin is only 10 posts into his MTF career and he has 6 positive reactions to this post. Early on favorite for 2026 MTF ROY?
  2. Same. I've been critical of the Keith situation (how he's been handled, his output, etc). Key to note he has put up good offense for his age and he hasn't found much of a power stroke yet. He could be a guy that has an impressive leap this season.
  3. I was looking at the discrepancy in attempts/makes for the game? Interesting that you bring this up. I think Kelser brought up FT% during the game, too.
  4. I get thrown off by college teams that have teal as a color since that color wasn’t invented until the 1990s. New Mexico has some teally looking shirts on today. Coastal Carolina adorns itself in the hue.
  5. Drunk on Vernor’s?
  6. I think McKinstry’s playing time will decrease. I think Vierling will get most of his playing time in OF. Keith won’t play 162 at 3B, so sure, Vierling, McKinstry, others will find some time there. I don’t know, I just suspect Keith becomes more of an everyday lineup guy by Memorial Day.
  7. Just not interested in acquiring lack of availability.
  8. At this point I think Keith gets the Opening Day 3B gig. I’m fine with that. Give him a defensive role, let him grow into it. I think the bat will be fine and I think it’s good enough where he’s not a platoon bat. SS is the only spot on the IF in flux right now, and at worst Baez’s glove still plays there.
  9. Ok, ok, enough fish ‘n chips and birthday chat. Let’s get back into which is the more extreme, Scott Harris’s awesomeness or Al Avila’s awfulness.
  10. As was my grandpa’s. He’d always talk about it being his and Al’s birthday.
  11. I remember the artificial tree my parents had. It was stored in these humungous heavy/compressed cardboard barrels. These things were humongous to me as a small kid, they were probably similar in size to a 55 gallon barrel. And they seemed like a hassle to haul up and down the basement steps, but maybe they were just awkward rather than heavy. There was the base, the trunk/"spine", and then the limbs. The limbs were all color coded on the thick wire attachment part to set into the same color coded holes in the base.
  12. They'll be spending next Christmas on TV.
  13. Wasn't there a one time one point lead by Portland the night before, too? I might be wrong about that. Regardless, nice start to the road trip. I'll take 2-0 on a back-to-back out on the west coast anytime.
  14. Cignetti may have earned himself more autonomy at Indiana than he'll ever have at Michigan. Just think about what he's accomplished for that program and where his achievement stands in that history. He may be just another coach at Michigan. Maybe that's something he considers important. Plus, he's in the playoff now with his program that he built. He just won a Big 10 championship. I think we can all agree that a football season like this at Indiana likely means a fall from grace next season, at least in the past. But you typed it yourself, things have changed. Its quite a change to older mindsets that have followed these teams for decades.
  15. Anthony Davis has played enough games to qualify for this graphic?
  16. Bless you, Lee.
  17. Hello, water into wine. And he took a stale half loaf of bread and some fish sticks and turned it into a Long John Silver's. Am I the only one that remembers these teachings from Catholic school?
  18. Sigh.... I'm just trying for a little light hearted and terrible humor. I'm not here to learn nothing. But while we're at it, I hate the application of the tree. I hate dropping the money on it. I hate decorating it, I hate undecorating it, I hate taking it out afterwards, I hate cleaning up all of the damn needles afterwards. I kind of like the lights. But essentially since the woman to whom I'm related by marriage wants a live tree, I'm forking over $100 to be annoyed. And think about it from the tree's perspective. If they're getting chopped down, you know damn good and well they would prefer to sacrifice themselves to become a baseball bat over anything else.
  19. They were also over rather quickly, were they not?
  20. Don’t pagans have their own shrubbery to decorate? Like a maple tree or hydrangea or something like that?
  21. Oh, stuff it.
  22. The Toledo War Jr?
  23. Yup, I missed that part. My bad. But go easy, it isn't time for the airing of grievances yet, is it?
  24. Can’t wait for this “super league” to form, further shut out the MACs and WACs and whatnots, but then still schedule them for “out of super league” games.
  25. James Hetfield before Metallica?
