These Giants jerseys are shameful. I don’t really like how this is going. First a reference to “We Built This City” and now these abhorrent duds. I think they should pull Skubal from the game immediately.

I wouldn’t mind going with more youth and just signing vets as locker room influences that can play every once in a while, or as needed due to covering injuries. But how many players are out there that fit the bill, and how many would want to go to a rebuilding team as opposed to a legit playoff contender?

It may not be so rigid. Could be a bench guy gets more minutes than a starter depending upon either design or how the game is going.

That starting 5 makes sense. Or, if Bagley is brought back, he could be the starter and a frontcourt pairing of Olynyk and Duren could be used off of the bench. Hayes and Diallo as the primary bench backcourt. Mix & match that 10th spot, or maybe that's a good spot for a veteran wing?

Likely. Given where they are in the standings, why not challenge the young kids and see if they can be counted on for the future? The other aspect is that the Tigers are "short" on arms, at least in comparison to how the roster was staffed before. They're down to 13 pitchers whereas before they were at 14. They simply need more innings pitched per pitcher going forward.

Chris McCoskey and Dan Dickerson work well together. I remember thinking Darrell Evans was old when he signed with the Tigers. Here I am a decade older than that age now.
