  1. I'm comfortable with thinking Torkelson is the exception to the rule.
  2. Smooth Johnny Kane.
  3. Just one small fix there.
  4. East of Reno, Nevada, too. Just saying.
  5. Sacramento Kings (5-8) vs Detroit Pistons (3-9)
  6. I know there has been an assumption from some that Cunningham and Hayes cannot coexist in the same backcourt. I want to see what plays out. And to your point that Hayes hasn't played a half season yet, we're a month into this season and Cunningham is just kind getting the feel of the game due to the time he lost. I'm for patience on the backcourt development.
  7. So, I wonder. How does Texas’ 2-5 in the B12 translate to the SEC?
  8. Slow down, sir. I said chaos. I didn’t say a completely uninhabitable dimension of the unknownth kind.
  9. With Oklahoma's loss, it seems the Big 12 is out of the playoff. Or is that jumping the gun a bit? Are all 1 loss power 5s still in play? ACC: Only remaining 1 loss team is Wake Forest. Pittsburgh has 2 losses and everyone else (including Dabo U) has at least 3. Big Ten: Ohio State, Michigan, and Michigan State remain as 1 loss teams. It would seem likely that if one of these remains at 1 loss through the conference championship it gets invited to the playoffs. Big XII: Oklahoma and Oklahoma State remain as 1 loss teams. PAC 12: Oregon has 1 loss and everyone else has at least 3 losses. SEC: Undefeated Georgia is probably in a position where they could lose 1 and still be in the playoffs. It seems likely Alabama is in if it wins out, but if it takes a 2nd loss, then its questionable. I root for chaos and a 1 loss ACC champion Wake Forest left out in lieu of a 2 loss Alabama. Others: Cincinnati is still undefeated and a loss removes them from playoff consideration. Our Lady is still at 1 loss to Cincy and they'll get the benefit of doubt over a 1 loss Wake Forest and Oklahoma State. UTexas at San Antonio is undefeated and that's a nice story. In a way, an undefeated Cincinnati is probably beneficial to the NCAA. Its probably not the case in most years, but this year, undefeated with a win over Our Lady and a bunch of one losses that might not be easily distinguishable?
  10. This has to be on your grave stone. I mean, don't keel over anytime soon, but this phrase is your favorite in these parts. chasfh Then -- Later Loving husband, son, brother, yada, yada, yada. "The devil we knew."
  11. I don't know what's going to happen this off season, but I would imagine Story settling for $20M AAV is among the leastest likely.
  12. Yeah, fun to watch. Pretty impressive considering this was the 2nd of a back-to-back and they awful the night before. But I do not want to see Joseph in there at the end of the game.
  13. Yeah, it ain’t like Cunningham is Stanley Johnson Jr. I just happen to like Mobley better. And if they could have traded down for Mobley and gotten other goodies, I’d have been happy with that.
  14. Something to be said for consistency.
  15. Detroit Pistons (2-9) vs Toronto Raptors (7-6)
  16. Stay away from heavy machinery.
  17. Its kind of why St. Louis has been an annual playoff contender for the past two decades.
  18. It was an Eagle Scout project.
  19. Can you explain to me why a 17 year old with an assault rifle was there from out of state?
  20. Time will tell. He was who I wanted the Pistons to draft.
  21. 7 wins and 5 losses. Like, for real, dude.
  22. Detroit Pistons (2-8) vs Cleveland Cavaliers (7-5. I swear to you, I tripled checked it on several websites and they all confirm it.)
  23. Isn't it as elementary as the more often a team is in the playoffs the more often they have a crack at the title?
  24. I want to see another title. I want to see a playoff contender year in and year out. Ain't no reason to not hope for both. Usually the title winner makes it to the playoffs. Once the playoffs start, usually one of the teams in the playoffs wins the title. It isn't always the best team entering the playoffs. So, hey, get into the playoffs, hopefully healthy and at 100% strength, and then go from there. And if a team is in the playoffs more often than not, the chances of getting a title in there are probably better than those teams that don't qualify for the playoffs.
