  1. Haase sure likes to keep it interesting out there
  2. Some solid contact though, I think he's getting away with it so far
  3. Also, the app and platform BLOWS. Ive been using (more like putting up with) mlb.tv for almost 10 years. Getting audio to sync with streams is troublesome and ive all sorts of freezing issues. I've submitted numerous support tickets and never gotten a reply. NEW THIS YEAR, the screen on my phone has to be on when listening to the radio broadcast otherwise it pauses. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE, the app doesn't override the screen timeout so you have to tap the screen every 10 minutes to keep the stream from pausing. Basically, mlb is doing the least possible to operate and support a streaming service. Its embarrassing for 2022, I keep expecting it to be better at the beginning of each season and its always just as buggy as before. I guess its nothing new that the league is 15 years behind the times. Rant over
  4. At the start of last year i could get around the blackout on my Samsung galaxy by turning off location services but sometimes early in the season they got wise to that. I've never thought of putting the vpn on my router, or know how. Generally my VPN through surfshark slows down my subpar internet to the pont that its intermittently unusable so that may not be a practical option. At least im in MN so I'm only blacked out 19 games a year, bastards!
  5. Obviously this is bad but I'm not worried the first few times through the rotation
  6. Skubal has 5 more batters, I wouldn't let him see the top of the order again
  7. I was thinking abreu should've been his last
  8. I really want them to play tomorrow but its not looking great. Speaking of which, looking at this storm on the radar is impressive. It reaches all the way from north dakota to well out into the Atlantic!
  9. Ugh, already lost the trade. Whatd meadows do today?
  10. That reminds me, I forgot to celebrate that Nelson Cruz is in the other league! 17 years and he's finally gone!
  11. I sure hope they've turned the page to consistently trying as a minimum. I see the current investment in payroll and staff as indications that may be the case, time will tell. Obviously, if those investments, plus recent draft picks, payoff we can probably expect to watch relevant baseball year in and year out. On the other hand, if they don't payoff, or further reinvestments aren't made, I'm worried Chris I may throw his hands in the air and re-commit to another rebuild.
  12. It doesn't take long. I was really hoping they'd have a new broadcast team this year
  13. I don't care if he adds on 50lbs. It won't matter until he learns to use his legs
  14. It is now February and still feels like a ways off from a deal. Id say spring training is guaranteed to be delayed. What are the odds ST is up and running by March 1? I'm still cautiously optimistic
  15. A bit optimistic, sure, but not out of the question
  16. https://www.mlb.com/news/triple-a-to-have-automated-ball-and-strike-system One step closer to a computerized zone!
  17. You're totally right. We are too die hard and set in our ways to be steered away. For one reason or another, we watched through these last few rebuild years. If we survived that, its going to take a hell of a lot to scare us away. That being said, I'm not above seeing the flaws and hard truth realities that play in the background of a sport I enjoy watching.
  18. That's exactly what it is. Sure, some owners are fans, in fact probably most, but they are ALL in it for profit. In my personal delusion, I assume the owners feel that profits and tradition/ fan experience aren't mutually exclusive. In fact, they probably think the two concepts build on each other to some extent.
