Maton and Vierling shouldn't be playing but there is no one at Toledo to replace them, so they have to play and we have to hope that they figure things out.
Yes, the best hitter on the team is not starting against a lefthander. So that he will never learn to hit them. I don't mind platooning the mediocre guys but doing it with Greene is stupid.
That Fangraphs article from a couple of days ago had Peyton Graham as the Tigers' #10 prospect. He's 22 years old at Lakeland and is playing poorly so at some point the actual results that he achieves will have to affect his ranking.
Or maybe he's evolved into a better player at 24 than he was at 22? I would still wait until October to see if he can have a good season, it would be his first. Then he would be in a position to make some money.
Paredes is having some good results right now, so good for him. It's a big improvement over last year when, other than an almost impossible 11 game stretch, he was just terrible. I'd still wait and see what the results are for a full season.
