  1. Unfortunately, Hero of the Soviet Union is no longer available.
  2. I don't understand what I am reading there, but it has a "Death of Stalin" ring to it, like Steve Buscemi is going to sort out Beria once and for all.
  3. Heh heh heh heh....excellent, excellent.
  4. The Tigers just pulled Baez out of the game, and left Schoop in.
  5. Wow Alex Delvecchio is still alive at 91. I had no idea.
  6. Count your blessings, at least no one posted that hilarious photo of smiling Al Avila. It never gets old.
  7. As useless as Schoop is, there isn't anyone else right now in Toledo.
  8. Or maybe she drank heavily through 9 months of pregnancy?
  9. Yes it's low 50's here, been procrastinating!
  10. The 3 highest OBP guys on the team are sitting on the bench. Have no fear, they will play when a righthanded reliever shows up.
  11. OK, score at least one run this inning or I'm going outside to pull weeds.
  12. 87 pitches for Eduardo already, after 2 out in the 5th.
  13. Yes, the best hitter on the team is not starting against a lefthander. So that he will never learn to hit them. I don't mind platooning the mediocre guys but doing it with Greene is stupid.
  14. It's another Ibanez-in-right-field game.
  15. That Fangraphs article from a couple of days ago had Peyton Graham as the Tigers' #10 prospect. He's 22 years old at Lakeland and is playing poorly so at some point the actual results that he achieves will have to affect his ranking.
  16. Or maybe he's evolved into a better player at 24 than he was at 22? I would still wait until October to see if he can have a good season, it would be his first. Then he would be in a position to make some money.
  17. Paredes is having some good results right now, so good for him. It's a big improvement over last year when, other than an almost impossible 11 game stretch, he was just terrible. I'd still wait and see what the results are for a full season.
  18. No one is glad that Meadows can't play anymore.
  19. Yeah Lorenzen is exceeding expectations.
  20. Meanwhile over in the National League, Ronald Acuna looks like he wants to hit 30 homers, steal 70 bases, and win the slash line triple crown.
  21. Hey guess which hitter leads the entire Tigers' minor league organization in strikeouts. Give up? It's JHC Malloy! He has 40! Of course, he leads in just about everything else too. Dingler's rehab is going well. Project his current pace for 620 AB's and he would have 70 homers, 250 hits, 190 RBI, 50 stolen bases. Here's the problem...none of the catchers at Toledo are particularly awful, they are all sort of decent although none has the prospect pedigree of Dingler. So, what to do? Leave him at Erie for now I guess. If Rogers or Haase gets hurt, Donny Sands gets the call and Dingler goes to Toledo.
  22. I think that belief in Harris is the mainstream opinion here. Excluding of course the few people who freaked out because Harris didn't think Candelario was worth $7 million.
  23. Jonathan Davis OPS on April 30: 1.000. OPS in May: .237.
