In the category of WWII era series or movies I'd love to see is one based on Louise Alberto Urrea's novel Goodnight, Irene. The book is based his mother's time serving with the Red Cross during the war as a "Donut Dolly" the group of women who were recruited to bring treats and a bit of "home" to the troops during WWIi, Korea and Viet Nam. These young women often found themselves near the front and in harms way.

It's probably because Crosby slept thru the opening support flights of the invasion😉. It seemed like they tried to include too much into the final episode.

I worked for a traffic service in the early to mid 90s. We were fairly early adaptors spent a lot of my time in a Cessna 172. Nasty days meant I'd drive around phoning in reports on one of those bricks.
