  1. Not sure if you've seen this. Schmidt lays it all out..... https://steveschmidt.substack.com/p/no-books-no-money-just-the-truth?s=r
  2. I really need to add this to the list...Willie Nelson, Wynton Marsalis, Walter Blanding on Tenor....
  3. It sounds like the guy is a few dingleberries shy of a full peck
  4. Somebody needs to drain the Pa Swamp
  5. Realistically factions would always form so I guess having parties is inevitable in the long run (Thanks TJ) Ranked choice is an interesting concept, keep "voting" until someone reaches a majority. But when a "Party's" nominee wins with less than 50% of the vote, especially when the "Party" in theoretically the "majority party" something is drastically wrong with the system.
  6. You know what else isn't in the Constitution? Political Parties. Maybe we need a movement to have them outlawed. All elections by ranked choice voting...
  7. Maybe they should begin with the PA/NJ border to keep out frauds like Oz
  8. Rick was starting to slide near the end of his second term when he decided he wanted to be Vice President. Glen Youngkin is what Rick Snyder was becoming.
  9. How many of these foreign assets were behind the Citizens United ruling, and how much $$$ did Mr and Mrs Virginia Thomas gain from the deal?
  10. One heck of a rant...a bit of tweeting while drunk there?
  11. One issue that I've seen raised from the fallout of whatever the ruling happens to be is that it opens a Pandora's box on the right to privacy. Especially in regards to laws restricting travel across state lines (to use an extreme case), but you could also begin to see local law enforcement seeking court orders seeking information on people looking for emergency contraception or ever those seen near a suspected abortion facility. What would stop authorities do the same in regards to guns somewhere down the line? While not completely restricting gun use, but gathering information on those visiting gun shops, gun shows, researching gun information on line?
  12. For your amusement...
  13. He's still doing some good stuff...Quite a bit different from his Range days...
  14. I'm sure you'll be thrilled when the Don Kelly era begins...
  15. Good to hear things are going well. I thought about pinging you this week. I know all about the Medicare maximum. While not Cancer related my Ofev is now down to a reasonable $650 a month. Getting old is no fun
  16. My views go back to pre Rowe when having a child out of wedlock still carried a severe stigma. I know girls around 16, 17 or so who were forced to drop out of school. Get involved in "shotgun" marriages, that usually failed in the end. Or if older had to give up promising careers that they later regretted. Even if the child was given up for adoption, the stigma remained. Not that the "guilt" of having an abortion wouldn't be there as well. I think of the 20 something college educated woman who would have probably lost her job, had her family abandon her (there was a family history there). Even if she gave the child up she was already screwed...
  17. Same here. I think we settled on Love, Honor and Cherish or something like that. The last words were "This is my beloved, this is my friend" (Solomon 5:16)
  18. Hence the love, honor and OBEY DAMN IT, in the marriage vows.
  19. What about the fact there is nothing in any of these bills that punish the sperm donor? But then, these are the same people who discourage young women from reporting an assault or rape, most of the time do not believe her or accuse her of doing something that causes it. Even to the point where the accused gets away with murder.
  20. Mine is constantly in flux. A few all time must haves Weather Report, Birdland Don Williams, Good Ole Boys Otis Redding, Dock of The Bay Wilson Pickett, Land of a Thousand Dances Aretha Franklin, Chain of Fools Dire Straits, Walk of Life The Band The Weight Tower of Power, Don't Change Horses Tams, Be Young, Be Foolish Roseanne Cash, God is in the Roses edit... Need to add Bruce Hornsby, Mandolin Rain
  21. I'm old enough to remember when William Scott, R Virginia, was declared dumbest member of the Senate by his peers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_L._Scott He was a genius compared to these folks
  22. I just tried it, got it on the first guess I'm retiring undefeated.
