Folks here have no idea what risks Afghans took working with us. I have heard through my community that 4-5 translators and U.s. gov't support units have been killed. Yup, and non ev vehicles are already doing away with alot of old mechanical tech. E-brakes on a car for example. There are no more cables to set that e-brake, it is control by an acuator the you push a button on the console and locks the brake.

I was researching were this comes from. Looks like the easiest way to produce it is Tar Sands byproduct from Alberta, CA. I wonder if with the Keystone pipeline shut down does Canada still harvest oil using this method? Sounds like this stuff is pretty tame on the toxic level which is good. Thanks for education!

I work for GM and a 2019 bolt battery will cost you $8500 plus 12 hours of labor at $125 an hour so another $1500 that factor warranty is 8 years/100k miles so it would be awhile before you hit that. There is a huge recall on those batteries due to fire hazard. They tell you not to park in your garage so your house don’t catch on fire. There is a back log on batteries for the recall of about 30k infilled units. There is a major shortage of nickel so the line is moving slow.

But hey guys were not in a recession, things are just fine....

I have read on this board a number of times how people are so stuffed with stimmy money that they couldn't spend it all. However Middle/Lwr Middle class are now struggling to make ends meet, again.

It is great news. The chip shortage has been a major problem in the Auto Industry for the past 3-4 years I certainley wish they could have gotten in front of it sooner.

I like Meadows but man the guy just fell apart this year.... Hoping he rebounds with about 15-20 other players who broke this year as well.
