I like Tuomisto... But I think he had fallen off the radar quite a bit, even though I believe he's played a lot better this year back in Finland's Liiga. So I opted to include him in the general point #7 as a guy who could pop but we haven't seen enough of that yet. I think he will pop and get back onto a Wings Top 10 Prospects list... but he'll need to do it in North America when he's back here again, I think, to grab that type of spot... Just my 2 cents.

That's why I put a lot of caveats on that list. And really, looking at the top 2 lines... those aren't All-NHL lines... unless there's a whole lot of development or we have a hidden gem or two... that team looks really average/ bottom-type seedings in the playoffs level. IMO. Although maybe a depth build-up pushes us a notch or two higher, if that happens...?

Some will cut it, some will not. No idea who does/ doesn't.... 5) No guarantees that anyone will reach their "potential"; but anyways, that's the top of our current list. 6) We need more top-end talent. Period. And that includes adding some key veterans if we are able to... 7) There are guys who are not on this list... Who are still prospects and could make it to the NHL... But just haven't popped yet. Just my... 2 cents.

But it's time for the Tigers to just move on... And not look back. IMO.

I am perfectly fine with more patience. My 1st choice is to not even trade for DeBrincat. My 2nd choice is, if the cost is not too high - and I think #17 plus Zadina fit within that definition - then I'm certainly OK with making that trade. But absolutely not at an overpay. I would prefer to just have some more patience...

A key reason that I would have wanted Dubois more than DeBrincat is because of the toughness issue. I know we need offense. But I want both offense and playoff-level mental and physical toughness. It's a key need for the Wings. I don't know why we weren't in on Dubois, I know DeBrincat is a Michigander but... I gotcha on the Kings usage of those guys... overall a better package unless we are at least including Ras and maybe Berggren... I'm reluctant to include those two while we are still looking for their upside...

Aren't the 3 guys 3rd and 4th line guys? That's like trading Veleno, Zadina, and maybe Rasmussen... And a 2nd... Do that for DeBrincat? I would say no only due to the upside of Ras. But swap out Ras for Mazur and I would say yes.
