No... Do NOT want to keep on an expensive contract. That's not even a consideration, IMO. He's on the roster until we find better... And Harris WANTS better... IMO.

The Tigers have been pushing an awful lot of guys over to 1B to see if they can handle it. I don't think Tork sees a contract past his arb days with the Tigers. And if someone pushes him out the door before then, it'll be because they're proving the better option... I think the only one who might scream a little bit will be his best bud Greene.

If Holmes has the right ammunition... I could see him drafting LT in the 1st and then trading #50 (bottom of 2nd) plus other picks to go up and get Zion Young near the top of the 1st. Fits Lions schematically and personality wise (but so does Faulk...) and if he were to sell out to fill these two positions... A 1st round LT like Lomu or Freeling plus an aggressive move up to land Zion Young for DE makes the most sense... IMO. OR.... Can he land Faulk and then move up to still catch Lomu or Freeling or Iheanachor...? It seems to me to be easier the other way around... Although I may be wrong...

And at 365 #'s plus... could easily fall into the "having a problem controlling his weight" habit. Hard pass. They also talked with Iheanachor quite a bit I thought. More of a personality fit with the Lions and a guy they could trade down in the 1st and still get... IMO. Right Tackle only though... Lomu, Freeling and Mauigoa are the Left Tackles they might target (requiring different 1st round positioning for each...). If I had to guess...
