70% of our economy is consumerism...
So of course with this Kleptocratic Administration...
Consumers are "last".
Or did he mean "least"?
Doesn't matter. "Let them eat cake".
I wish a I had a guillotine.
I can't imagine that his first post-arb contract will come cheaply. $15-20-25-30 mill per year?
Under the title "Managing the Tigers' Salary Cap"...
IMO...
Tork is eminently replaceable.
And who is waiting in the wings...? Keith? Jung? Briceno?
Just a guess here... but Harris will be able to find a replacement. At an acceptable cost.
PS: One last thought: After Skubal walks this year... shouldn't we trade Tork for a starting pitcher? Food for thought...
No...
Do NOT want to keep on an expensive contract. That's not even a consideration, IMO. He's on the roster until we find better...
And Harris WANTS better... IMO.
The Tigers have been pushing an awful lot of guys over to 1B to see if they can handle it.
I don't think Tork sees a contract past his arb days with the Tigers.
And if someone pushes him out the door before then, it'll be because they're proving the better option...
I think the only one who might scream a little bit will be his best bud Greene.
PS: I like the idea of zhe or zhim or zhey or zhem (used grammatically correct) rather than "they" and "them" because the grammar just messes me up and I am a stickler for grammar...
If Holmes has the right ammunition...
I could see him drafting LT in the 1st and then trading #50 (bottom of 2nd) plus other picks to go up and get Zion Young near the top of the 1st. Fits Lions schematically and personality wise (but so does Faulk...) and if he were to sell out to fill these two positions...
A 1st round LT like Lomu or Freeling plus an aggressive move up to land Zion Young for DE makes the most sense...
IMO.
OR....
Can he land Faulk and then move up to still catch Lomu or Freeling or Iheanachor...?
It seems to me to be easier the other way around... Although I may be wrong...
And at 365 #'s plus... could easily fall into the "having a problem controlling his weight" habit.
Hard pass.
They also talked with Iheanachor quite a bit I thought. More of a personality fit with the Lions and a guy they could trade down in the 1st and still get... IMO.
Right Tackle only though...
Lomu, Freeling and Mauigoa are the Left Tackles they might target (requiring different 1st round positioning for each...).
If I had to guess...
I was going to like this until I read the last sentence.
Too much and off-base IMO... especially compared to the first part.
But I do love that first part (sorry I grammared...).
Two Thumbs up on that.
In other words... Trump is full of ****.
In other words, Trump is full of ****.
How come every time Trump opens his mouth...
Nothing but **** comes out?
Does he have two assholes instead of one asshole and a mouth?
(Rhetorical question)
They'll get those fans back if they keep winning games. I'm sure their attendance has been way up there this season.
But it gets tiresome watching their games/ standing that they blow each and every single March.
It's just...
Too...
Tiresome.
(and boring too).
Yeah... I'm not going to...
I can stay in "wait-n-see" mode for a while longer though...
Maybe JB can "coach them up" but...
We'll see.
Not holding my breath but... it would be nice...
PS: Langdon, find a couple more guys in this draft please... Even UDFA's...
If for nothing else... than... competition.
Between Sasser, Lanier and Jenkins...
I'd like to see at least two of these guys turn into something.
True 3&D players? Ball-handlers? Playmakers? Good enough "D"?
I don't know.
But keep working on your game's guys.
The Pistons sure could use two of them really developing...
