I think both Tork and Greene will leave 2022 ST on the 25... unless the team plays with CBA issues for a month or so... But other than that... I can see the team breaking ST with both of them... and just going through the normal "growing pains" of rookies hitting MLB...

I view Peralta as a AAAA guy. You can throw him into the rotation (MLB) in a pinch, and might get some decent pitching out of it... but he could just as easily put up crappy numbers (per his history). I think he added a pitch before this year which has given him good results in 2021... But honestly, I think it's fool's gold. And somebody, for the 2022 season, is going to view him as a back-end starter and offer him more $$$ than I think we should. I would love to have him back in 2022 as a AAAA (6th or 7th starter) guy, pitching in Toledo or Detroit as the need arises and the season plays out. But only if the money is not too great and, like I said... I think he'll get offers for more than he is worth as a 6th/7th (to us) starter. If we're serious about making a playoff push that is....

He can also taste those 600 doubles. Only 4 more of those, plus the 3K = an extremely exclusive club... He might get those 600 this year. Not so certain about the 3K...

Those 49,000 votes are BS. There is no investigation to be done whatsoever. The duplicates were a second ballot sent in by those notified of an incorrect first ballot (errors, not signing it, etc) so it was a chance to make a correction to a well-intended ballot that would have been tossed. The state is ALLOWED to do that. It's a normal part of the process. Your 49,000 "irregular" votes are complete and total bullshit, with bullshit reasons by a bullshit "audit". I don't think he'll get what he wants coming back from TJ. Just my opinion but... I believe his best bet is to take a 1-year deal, finish the year strong and prove that he's worth a contract of a few years at big money... and get that in the 2022 offseason. I don't think he'll get those offers this offseason. In effect, he'd be betting on himself. That's my guess: he goes for a 1-year $20 mill-ish (I have no clue on what his 1-year just-back-from-TJ value is...) prove-it deal and then tries to cash in big after 2022. I think the Tigers could go for that 1-year deal if that's what JV ends up pushing for...

My first guess would be no. Let him rehab and then make a decision at that point what to do with him... If he hasn't already resolved that himself...
