I once was thrown against a locker by a principal for having a bright green dart toy dart gun with which my buddies and I were playing assassin. Boomers and Gen X had different trajectories. My generation were worried about the dragons in D&D that could spray us with acid. Yours was worried that the brown acid was going to mess them up or about the draft board sending them to Vietnam.

His comp is JJ as a Frosh. JJ was not quite ready to be QB for that 2021 team until Georgia showed that Cade was definitely not enough.

Noticed a comment elsewhere in the Michigan Men's BB thread about U-M's regents being "anti-semitic" which was read by me at roughly the same time as reading headline about Ohio University (not TOSU) students having a poll that was 86% against Israel. Israel having just dragged the dumbest and most craven US Presidents into a war after failing to convince the previous several US Presidents to do the same. Israel having just stomped all over the people who also claim their land who did horrible terroristic things. You can't conflate the two. The European Jewish people have the long history of oppression leading to the Holocaust. The Holocaust happened. It was horrible. Beyond horrible. As horrible as any of the 20th century's other horrors (i.e., Stalin's Holodomor and others, the Armenian genocide, Cambodia, all of Mao's horrors, Rwanda). Certain very powerful evangelicals trying to make Jesus come earlier and the manipulation of same by certain Israeli leaders is creating a horror all its own. People who have ethics and view the World (in its current form) as their project to reform and protect are naturally going to be against genocide.

Yeah. I think asking someone like that to have an artists imagination is going to lead to pain. I think I would imagine Ian Kinsler who was in the bat business with Jack White might have been like that. Maybe JV who is married to a woman who is sort of plugged into the art world (as much as a bikini model might be).

I am sad to see Mohan leave. That actress is lovely. Mel is possibly leaving but not sure if that is a negotiation ploy. Her wacky personality change now that her sister is no longer hanging on her every move might be a fun one. She suddenly goes all hedonist, etc. I was resisting the importance of the Dr. Robby death wish until the last two episodes and they handled it pretty well with his friend and with dr. Abbott talking him through it as men. Sort or ties to first season of True Detective where two men who fought like brothers eventually have a moment of spartan truth.

I thought the pizza one was a real expression of possible punk rock-itude by Torkelson (the purported originator of that one) but my gut tells me he was not being in any way subversive with that and that makes me sad.
