  1. Might be difficult to keep it stocked but who wouldn't want to see gladiatorial combat going on back there between underdressed ladies and violently angry apex predator panthera tigris tigris. I would assume the high heels of the showgirls might be fashioned into some sort of weapon but the Tigers have an amazing leaping ability.
  2. are the live Tigers in there too?
  3. He can't play anywhere. He'd die if he was in space without a suit. On Venus he'd likely be destroyed by the acidic atmosphere.
  4. My potential response violates the terms of service for the Tiger board
  5. Also a good use of your time!
  6. For being a weird war that nobody really understands The Crimean War had a lot of impact of media, culture and society: Flo Nightingale and the institutionalization of battlefield care and nursing and data analysis! Nightingale was an innovator in statistics; she represented her analysis in graphical forms to ease drawing conclusions and actionables from data. She is famous for usage of the polar area diagram, also called the Nightingale rose diagram, which is equivalent to a modern circular histogram. This diagram is still regularly used in data visualisation. Charge of the Light Brigade, "ours is not to question why..." The "Thin Red Line" which originated with war correspondent William Howard Russell's description of the Highlanders as a "thin red streak topped with steel" Placido Polanco in a balaklava waddling around the bases arms raised triumphant when Magglio Ordonez of the King's Own Detroit Guards Grenadiers hit the winning HR against the Oakland Cossacks in 2006.

  8. I'm still waiting to hear my Dad tell the story of how a life-long Republican, middle-of-the-road guy who spent his entire life playing by the rules was joined by the rest of the blue haired folks in Oceana County to protest.
  9. if there isn't we should start one.

  14. There goes the supply chain!
  15. Having a bunch of corporate clients seems the opposite of short-term. Agree that having real fans in as many seats as possible would be better than the appearance of apathy. The next few years are gonna be scary times economically. We will see how much corporate business can be had.
  16. That would be visually interesting.
  17. @Detroit Tigers Ownership @illitchfamily @ChrisIllitch Figure out how to fill that box seat area behind home plate. You should bring in attractive models so our broadcasts look visually interesting aside from the baseball. I would suggest you cast a diverse group. Avoid obvious costumes. So, if you do cast baseball gays, make sure they don't look like the pride float or Carmen Miranda. Avoid blackface, turbans, or native tribal headresses just for the purposes of showing diversity.
  18. We did make that joke today. :—)
  19. Unfortunately I was unable to protest, although the fans at my softball game at Washington and Liberty HS in Arlington must have come from a protest because I saw some "Hands Off" posters. Now I ask you...is there a more Northern Virginia/Washington DC team sponsor than this?
