Agreed. While during the game I would love to see a blowout, now that it's the morning after I can see this as a perfect result. They got the win, showed they can dominate mediocre teams, got step-up performances when injuries forced bigger roles for some, and made a ton of mistakes and brain cramps that will keep the players (and the fans) from getting over-confident. Still work to be done, keep getting better, very encouraging base right now.

Here's the full overtime that was taking place as the Lions were fumbling near the goaline. So I was a bit distracted. Big save on DeBrincat, then a bit later Raymond takes a feed from Compher to win it with 3:35 left in OT. 4-3.

The Lions still need to convert this 4th down. This is the type of night where they could give up a long bomb and lose an onside kick.
