    5-2 Wings midway through 3rd, with Larkin and Veleno (his 2nd of the game) adding goals. Still don’t feel completely safe though.

    Not only do they kill it, they even draw a penalty with 9 seconds left in period, so will have a powerplay to start the 3rd. 3-1 after 2. Will have to have a better 3rd period than against Tampa.

    Wings powerplay is lethal right now. Not only do they score often, but often quickly. Goals on back to back shots 10 minutes apart, 3-1 Wings lead late in 2nd despite being outshot 22-9.

    Ha, Ottawa fans constantly booing DeBrincat, cheered when he got hit, but a penalty was called. Wings score 7 seconds into the power play. 1-1 after 1.

    For awhile there I thought it was a question of whether the Wings would be able on for a point, let alone hold the lead.
