This was a tough one today. You could have tried so many different options. This was the first time my first word did not produce a letter Wordle 282 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟩🟩⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 -

No, the WORLD - le with the silhouette of a country..............it was the easiest one yet. Of course, I need to realize that there are American adults who went to high school and college that can't pick out the United States on a word-less Atlas, but today's clue was easy. Here.......... https://worldle.teuteuf.fr/ -

Always disappointing to look at a box score and see that Greene or Tork didn't play. They need days off at 21?

there's only 32 NHL Head Coaching jobs, they'll easily be able to find someone. -
We're talking about a 4th outfielder here..

I think Reyes has potential to be a plus bat. Either he breaks out a bit this year or he just proves to be another Ryan Raburn who couldn't hit before July but looked like an All-Star hitter in August and September, when the team no longer had a shot at winning anything. If you split Reyes' 2021 season in half, right at the midpoint he hit .327 with OBP of .352 in the second half, No real power numbers, but with his size if he bulked up a little bit he probably could show some power. Switch hitter, competent in all 3 OF spots. I think he's a really good option for a 4th OF guy. He gives Hinch a lot of versatility with his lineup and defense. If you could get .275/.330 with 10-15 HR out of him, that's really good for that role.

i still remember that game - just how electric it was - just watching on tv. I still remember the first start he had too. A Saturday against the Indians (RIP) and the game started and I was watching (I was 11) and I was thinking what a goofball he was and then i went with my dad to the pool supply shop and they had it on a little black and white TV and I was watching while my dad did dad things and by the time we got home the game was already over. i swear it ran less than 2 hours (like Armando's imperfect game). I remember thinking there just something about that guy, but I had no idea.......... (just looked it up, his first game ran 1:57)

hockey isn't the same game anymore, you could never have anything like this again. it would never be allowed to happen, but the refs knew that claude deserved it. otherwise they would have thrown darren out of that game. do you think brad marchand gets away with his bullshit back then? no way.

You're kidding, right? Move past the best regular season game I've ever seen? Even without the fights it was a great game, but with the fights? No, I will relive this one forever.

you just skipped the arts? It was insanely hot that evening, hot and humid, right?

Thought I was the only Ben Folds fan around here. Unless Jackson Cannery found this new site.

I moved to Albuquerque on March 26, 1996, I moved away on March 25, 1997. There exactly one year. First day of the drive home was through New Mexico and Texas. Second day started in in Oklahoma and by 7/8pm me in my truck and my friend John, driving the Ryder truck with all my stuff in it were in Missouri and thanks to AM skip we were able to listen to the game. This was just before cellphones so we bought cheap walkie talkies, we had to be within half a mile to talk and we were separated because the Ryder couldn't go over 70. The fight happens and I am driving and all of a sudden the walkie comes alive WHERE ARE YOU? WHERE ARE YOU? ARE YOU LISTENING TO THE WINGS GAME? HOLY SHIT, IT'S GOING DOWN, MAN, IT'S GOING DOWN. We met up and drove until about 11pm and stopped for the night in Illinois because we knew ESPN was replaying the game at 11pm. We put the game on and due to the tiredness of the road we both fell asleep before that part of the game played. We saw the highlights on SportsCenter the next morning. I knew at least 10 people who had taped the game. I actually have it on DVD now. Darren McCarty was the King of Detroit that year.

The night the Wings actually won the Stanley Cup. The rest of the season and playoffs were just a victory lap.

Just wondering. You could give me a ride and buy me a hot dog. No seriously, I got the 8th off as soon as the MLB schedule was announced but then, uncertain of the MLB season, I took the 5th off as well and I am thinking of going to the game. I have yet to buy tickets, but the Hens just emailed me that only 1,200 tickets remain (only? that seems like a lot) and I may take the drive down there to watch Willi Castro dominate. Anyone else thinking of going?

with his bat, not actually saying the words............I mean when you hit a home run off of......um.........Hagen Dazs...........I mean, Hagen Danner............you are announcing to the world I'M HERE !

E-Sock Paredes just told the Tigers "I DARE you to cut me, bitches, I DARE you".

Willi won't go...............Willi is here to stay. Willi will haunt our dreams.

Actually in the first months, they might be logging the same amount of innings as they would in Toledo. I would guess there is going to be a very strict pitch count on the starters, and you are going to need a couple of minor league starters to be long relievers.
-
Tigers roster through May 1st ? 10 position players (9 starters + Eric Haase) 18 pitchers (4 starters, 9 relievers, 5-man battle for spot 5 in the rotation). Actually, there is no pitcher cap, so they could have a 16-12 pitcher/position set up, but I think they go 15/13 Starters - Manning, Mize, Pineda, Rodriguez, Skubal Relievers - Alexander, Chafin, Cisnero, Foley, Fulmer, Funkhouser, Rony Garcia, Joe Jiminez, Soto, Wentz Catchers - Barnhart, Haase Infielders - Baez, Cabrera, Candelario, HCastro, WCastro, Paredes, Schoop Outfielders - Baddoo, Greene, Grossman, Reyes

He looks like James Franco there.........................Well, except for the fact he's actually got a job now.

Speculation that the Saints are will to just try out Colin Kaepernick and of course the conservatives are going to lose their minds........you know, the ones that preach about Jesus and religion and redemption? Meanwhile they missed out on getting a serial sexual offender, they would have been just fine with him.

No. No we won't.
