This is on Al. 7 years of running this team (and 12 years as part of the front office before that) and the 2 major-league OF he has produced are Riley Greene (has proven nothing yet) and Derek Hill (his potential is basically Quintin Berry). That's a lot of drafts to produce nothing. I admire Willi for playing his ass off and saying "yes" to whatever they need. Guy's got some grit. I know he has no room to refuse, but he's doing the best he can. Yep, freakish year with injuries. It does feel like they are cursed, but no depth from our own system. It's so frustrating.

Riley Greene is going to come out swinging and be on fire his first month and then Al will trade him for 2 middle-of-the-road prospects because eventually if Greene keeps hitting he'll want to get paid and we can't have that.

I chewed my fingernails (terrible habit, I know), after I sprayed ant killer around my kitchen.............I forgot to wash my hands first..........I have got a great freaking buzz going, this stuff is great !

You gotta cut him some slack, he's only played 36 games in his pro career in LF, I think he's doing a great job, considering that. We need more Castros. The Yankees have a Castro -- GET HIM ! Do you ever think about what you would do if you were in a normal situation and started hearing shooting? Like when you are in a grocery store if you heard it from the other side of the building how you would get out? I think about that all the time. Ever since the Station nightclub fire in Rhode Island (The Great White fire), I ALWAYS check to see where the closest exits are whenever I go to a concert. That place was fully engulfed in less than 5 minutes and most of the people died because everyone went to one exit which got jammed. One of the audience members ran towards the stage and THROUGH the initial fire because he knew there was an open exit at the back of the stage and snow banks on the ground outside, he did not get seriously burned and lived. Wish I didn't have to think about such things.
