  1. Do couples about to turn themselves in shut their phones off and withdraw $4,000 from an ATM. Asking for a friend?
  2. The most disappointing thing I've heard is the used the juiced balls for Harold Catro.
  3. I don't trust things Mike Bouchard says. He pulled the civil forfeiture crap on some people I know for legally growing weed, they cleared every single step with the state, he did it anyway and took almost everything they owned. By the time it was settled the lawyer fees had ruined them.
  4. They have a history in Jacksonville, Florida (both parents have been arrested for DUIs and Check Fraud there) and the Seattle area.
  5. Can't even imagine how twisted these people if this is the case. As Archie said, maybe they are with a lawyer, but I think that lawyer would have informed the police by now. the police don't have to tell the public if they know where they are, but it would be irresponsible right now to leave that out there. So many adults fucked up this week.
  6. How were they even out of their sight to begin with? Wow, a lot of adults failed this week.
  7. Yeah, but that's a lot of money.
  8. Sounds like a wonderful family.
  9. Players get their money even if they are terrible and even if their team is bad. Jordan Zimmerman got every penny for being the worst free agent the Tigers ever signed. But owners can't claim things are tough when a week ago a pitcher nearing 40 got a contract worth 43 million a year.
  10. But I also wonder. How many of those wealthy players are pro-union for other people? I doubt they are very supportive of teachers unions or auto workers unions unless it's for a photo-op. I agree with you on owners whining when most of them didn't even pay to build the ballparks that make them profits. All but 6 owners are billionaires, right? A million seconds is 11 days, A billion seconds is 31 years for a frame of reference there. But players annoy me if they start talking about 'How can I support my family?' So far, I haven't heard it with this lockout, but I think we will, we usually do. Most people would love to have their Per Diem alone. I don't like either side. Rookie salary is, what $570,000?. Most Americans aren't going to have a lot of sympathy when you complain. Both sides alienate the fans. Pretty dumb thing to do when there are so many other things vying for people's attention these days. Screw this up enough and they won't come back.
  11. Another Jan Sixer busted. Another one from Michigan. Because of his finger tattoo. Lots of pictures of him on his social media with that tattoo. For a bunch of people concerned with tracking chips in their vaccines, they sure like posting images of themselves online - where just about anyone can see who they are, where they are from and what they are up to.
  12. 2021/22 CALDER TROPHY FINALISTS Nedeljkovic, Detroit Raymond, Detroit Seider, Detroit
  13. Just televise Mud Hens games. We get to see the kids.
  14. So, just checking to see if the bleeding heart liberals kicked the kid loose yet? Oh, you mean he's still charged with murder? Damned Liberals. They just won't let you play with your god-given guns. Too bad they can't be like those Conservative Law & Order Texans who let kids who shoot up schools go home
  15. There was a case in Dallas where a mentally unstable man was holding a knife to his own throat and his mother called the police. When the cops showed up he lunged at them with a knife..........according to the police report....... and the cop shot him. Didn't kill him. The man then charged with Attempted Murder of a Peace Officer. But wait, the neighbor had a camera over their garage. Turns out the man was sitting in a rolling chair and when the cops drew their weapons (at about 20 feet away) he simply stood up. Never raised his knife. Not for a second. Who should be up for Attempted Murder here?
  16. I went in for jury duty and that was the case, but they never called me in. He had a rake...........try backing up until he figures shit out.
  17. And I thought Goodell and David Stern were bad................
  18. I am not going to post it here because its so graphic but I just saw a video of a Tucson cop shooting a man in a motorized wheelchair going into a Lowe;s............HE SHOOTS HIM 9 TIMES from less than 4 feet away. Don't know what happened before the video but the cop tells the man not to go into the store but the man ignores him, so the cop EXECUTES HIM? First thing he does when the man falls out of his wheelchair, dead, is handcuff him, but does not attempt or even pretend to offer medical aid. You can find the video on your own, it's horrifying. What the hell is going on in this country?
  19. It's 6:33pm. Any movement yet?
  20. I'll tell you how......seeing lots and lots of this
  21. The biggest flaw in that is that cars were built to transport people and goods and hammers were made to build things. Handguns are made for only one purpose - killing people (not killing deer). It's a ridiculous argument. I am not for banning guns. It's too late for that. There's too many of them out there. We don't have the resources to uphold it, but someone that uses a gun for something illegal - we need to be heavy on them....very heavy. And people who supply guns to someone who can't get them on their own should be charged with the same crime as the perp. Can we get serious about it? Fine, be a responsible gun owner. Good for you. But this case? 15 year olds can't buy handguns and they aren't supposed to even possess them without adult supervision. Sounds pretty clear to me. If this dad willingly bought this kid a 9mm handgun and did nothing to secure it, charge him with Accessory To Murder or charge him with murder. Yeah, your honor. I gave the guy the bomb. I showed him how to arm it. I didn't know he was gonna do something bad with it.
  22. Like my argument for the vaccines. Sometimes the seat belt PLUS the airbag isn't enough, so lets just not use anything, right?
  23. Need to find out who is making these threats, none of which are likely credible - and throw them in jail for a very long time and then charge the parents with the cost of wasted resources. Ain't funny. We need to go after people who make death threats too. There are limits to #1 (Fire in a crowded theater). If there wasn't, Charles Manson would have never gone to prison.
  24. We did actually have a 15 year old who built a nuclear reactor in his mom's backyard shed in Michigan. It didn't go well, but we got very VERY lucky it didn't end up poisoning a whole neighborhood.
  25. Lockout has started today. Not a lot of encouraging signs right now, but it's early.
