  1. Dave really slapped him on one take...........LOL
  2. I lived in New Mexico for a year. My plate was just yellow with red lettering and the red sun logo in the middle (from the state flag). Boooorrring. Still better than Michigan's boring base plate The whole year I lived there I never found myself Enchanted.
  3. What did the five fangers say to the face?
  4. I think he wants a yearly salary between Lindor and Max Scherzer. So somewhere between $35 mil and $40 mil. And he'll also want 10 years. I don't know who will give that to him. Astros won't commit to that time. Seems like the Yankees don't want to make that kind of commitment (they have SS in their system anyway). I guess that would put the Dodgers at the top of the list, but they may finally commit to Gavin Lux full time with Trea Turner at SS. I know the Mariners want to make a big splash, but they might still remember getting burned by the Cano deal. I'm going to stick to my original prediction that he signs with the Angels. Yeah, they need pitching, but the big pitchers aren't there and they spend foolishly. Angels. 10 years, 360 million. Maybe he signs an insane 1 year deal somewhere.
  5. You don't always have to draft one. There are some backups that could be ready to be a starter somewhere. Huntley in Baltimore looked pretty good.......we need to see more of him.
  6. Really enjoying Ben Rapelisberger get embarrassed almost every week now.
  7. Goff has played really well the last few weeks (I won't count the Denver game, the whole team was a mess with flu/COVID). I think part of it is that he connects with Campbell running the offense, using play action much more and he has a familiar receiver with Josh Reynolds and completely trusts St. Brown now. Goff looks much more comfortable than he did the first 6-8 weeks.
  8. I want Hutchinson more than Thibodeaux. Maybe that's just Michigan bias, but I watched Oregon and Michigan and Hutchinson played his best in the biggest moments. I did not see Thibodeaux doing that. They say he was hurt, but did they say that to excuse lackluster play? Without Thibodeaux Oregon has their biggest win. For Michigan if they didn't have Hutch, they probably don't win their division.
  9. Good loss. I wish we were getting the Seattle vs. Bears game because of all the snow.
  10. Draft Pick Protecting pass by Tim Boyle. Well done !
  11. Atlanta gives the Lions a time out....................Wow.
  12. Opportunity knocks.................
  13. Go for it here. Why the hell not?
  14. I don't know if I will ever get used to defensive players wearing single digits.
  15. Josh Reynolds is a pimp. He could never have outfought Santino.
  16. Lions need to re-sign Charles Harris Craig Reynolds Riley Patterson By the way. Cut the cord on Chrome. Firefox is much much faster. Not just as a browser but my whole computer is faster.
  17. Well done Taylor Decker. Playing like a rookie for over 5 years now.
  18. St. Brown - the steal of the draft.
  19. Neil Young used to fight with his label. He did the Trans album with the computerized voice and electronic stuff. Label rejected it. He left the label. Weird album, no hits, but he's freaking Neil Young. Geffen signed him and let him release it. He came back and gave them real Neil Young albums after that. He wanted to make a Kraftwerk album. Dude's a legend, leave him alone.
  20. I would love to know the reason. He took those songs and modernized them. Great songs and it sounds contemporary.
  21. There's a hole in my neighborhood down which, of late, I cannot help but fall.
  22. Urban Meyer will probably say "I knew he was going to do that so I benched him".
  23. Tim Boyle will have a huge game today. I'm being serious. St. Brown will have his first 100 yard game. Brock Wright will have a good game too.
  24. So he made this album in 2001 of re-done versions songs he wrote before Space Oddity. It's called Toy. His record company rejected it. About 10 years later much of it leaked (Bowie himself leaked it) and it is part of a box set. It's a great album. Why they rejected it, I don't know. Record companies also told Ben Folds that he couldn't do a solo piano tour, it would kill is career. They also told Sarah McLachlan putting a festival tour together with all female artists would end her career. She made millions off it. Toy gets a stand-alone release the day before what would have been Bowie's 75th birthday, January 7th, 2022. Creepy cover, though.
