I learned to get EVERYTHING in writing in radio. It actually saved my job once. Had a supervisor tell me to do something, I did it, it flopped and he blamed me, said I did it without permission in front of our boss with me sitting there. I said "hold on a second, I have something here........." I had the memo in writing. The GM asked me to leave the room and there was yelling. He didn't get suspended - and I worked there another 5 or 6 months and he never spoke to me ever. If I did something he didn't like (which was almost every day from then on) had his intern call me and tell me. Gutless turd.

Its on every single morning on COZI. I remember watching that as in kid in 1972, 1973 and I never imagined I would watch the episodes again at the age of 57 and I actually remember scenes. Terrible acting. Women were almost always portrayed as histrionic or helpless, it was the 70s. But the two paramedics did a lot of their own stunts.

"Exit Through The Gift Shop" is a documentary that Banksy directed about another street artist. Even Banksy doesn't get Banksy, he just rolls with it. His voice and face are altered in the film. A lot of people think Banksy is Rob Del Naja of Massive Attack. Seems to be a trend of Banksys popping up wherever they are touring, The mystery is the coolest part.

Don't know who had the ball initially. Because of the SNAFU this ball becomes MORE famous, so maybe the value goes up. Anyway, if you have half a mil to drop on a football, you probably aren't sweating it too much. Four years ago street artist Banksy put a painting up for auction (if you don't know who Banksy is, that's a big big deal) and someone bid 1.4 million dollars...........but the large frame of the painting was actually a shredder and as soon as the bid was signed off, someone turned the shredder on and the painting started going through it, but the shredder jammed and only shredded the bottom half of the painting. The story is that Banksy thought it was ridiculous for someone to bid that kind of money for something that took no effort, and he was going to give the money back, but now, there is no more famous piece of contemporary art in the world, so that half-shredded painting is worth a whole lot more.
