If Stafford had stayed here the Lions don't get the draft picks they used to build this team and we'd probably still be floundering around 7-10 to 9-8 The Rams / Lions trade - in my opinion, is the greatest sports trade in my life. Everyone won the trade. The players involved, the teams involved. The Rams run had to come to an end. They got a ring out of it. I'd take that any day of the week.

Wow. Yzerman's free pass needs to come to an end here. We all felt he didn't do enough this offseason to improve this team and this defense. I know the Rangers are good, but this is an awful start to the season. I didn't know the Yzer-Plan was a 15-year plan.

He has no business doing this as a team owner. We know how competitive he is. To think he won't use inside information is laughable. Of course he will. He'll just be sneaky. No way Tom will violate that trust. Yeah, and no way Ohtani made illegal bets too.

I think they'll end up playing in the Tampa Yankees park. Capacity is 11,500 (as of now) and they might be able to add some more seating. Rays only draw a paid average of 16,000 anyway. Only 2 teams drew fewer - Oakland (with it's fan revolt) and Miami (where nobody cares about baseball). This might be Nashville's chance to audition for an MLB team. There had been rumors the Rays would move there anyway.

Fox won't have to do anything. The NFL will probably just change the rules for him.

That's probably not factoring in the recent episode of FEMA not being to help people because they had to go into hiding BECAUSE OF TRUMP. I would imagine that's worth a point or two. But here's the thing about these Wishy-Washy Republicans who are saying their not voting for Trump but refusing to endorse Harris (i'm looking at you, Mitt). Do you think that maybe the fact that Trump said he wants to turn the military on UNITED STATES CITIZENS he doesn't like might be enough for you to say "Enough, vote for Harris, at least she won't go after our own citizens" Just absolutely ****ing ridiculous that it is not a bigger story. And I thought Pat Buchanan was bad back in the 80s - he never said this.

Even if Harris wins, and I am getting more scared she won't, its frightening and sad that about 46 or 47 percent of the people in our country are this dumb and this racist that they thing THIS is all okay. And we're getting dumber every day.

I was unhappy with Mr. Hinch in July, but my gosh............he had TWO starting pitchers down the stretch. The stretch the Tigers had was one of the greatest managerial jobs I've ever seen and I can think back, critically, to about 1980. Guess what? Not every decision he made worked. That's baseball. There is no perfect manager. You're holding him to a ridiculous standard. He got to the second round of the playoffs with, basically one starting pitcher, a bunch of kids and a couple of journeymen. The Detroit Tigers do not have a very good roster. It's okay with some potential but has more holes than your silly post. AJ Hinch basically did the equivalent of preparing a gourmet meal with nothing but stuff you can buy at 7-11. This roster, as it stands, had no real business being in the playoffs and I hope the team recognizes this and has an aggressive offseason, because something like this miracle Hinch and Fetter pulled won't happen again Cleveland simply had better players and after 5 games it showed. There is promise here going forward, but they must show consistency over the long hall to get back to the postseason again.

This team is not going to crumble over one guy getting hurt. Not this bunch. I would say the coaches would never allow this team to get down, but the players too. They are every bit as focused here. That's why it's tricky just getting anyone to replace Hutch. It has to be the right mentality. They can't get a cancer get in. They might actually be better off covering from within.
