Updated Coach hot seat rankings. Nobody is getting fired before week 5, but....... I have to have 5, but right not it's really 2. Other guys making this list are absolutely in trouble, but their team's struggles are more on the front offices than it is on the coaches. 1. Doug Pederson, Jacksonville - Two division games coming up one in Houston and at home vs. Indy. They lose both and he's probably out. He rises to #1 because....... 2. Mike McCarthy, Dallas - .......Jerry is not reactionary with coaches, he's pretty patient and he loves MM, but his seat will be very hot all season. He'll survive the season unless the team falls to something like 1-6 or 2-8 - and Dallas is too good fore that to happen. Do any of you think, like me, that Dak Prescott is just about the most overrated QB in the last couple of decades. Oh, he's talented, but he is not worthy of that pay. (very big gap here) 3. Zac Taylor, Cincinnati - Seems like Cincy's window has already closed. I don't think it's Taylor's fault so much, but this team has all their eggs in Joe Burrow's basket and he's not the same anymore. That swagger was great, but it only goes so long like that. 4. Kevin Stefanski, Cleveland - It's not Kevin's fault they signed that scumbag Watson, but coaches are hired to be fired. If Kevin goes crazy and benches Watson for Jameis and it works he'll look like a genius, but also piss off Browns ownership who have to keep paying Watson for being a backup. If they have a Morals Clause in Watson's contract it would probably only kick in after a conviction. 5. Matt Eberflus, Chicago - Look, Matt was in trouble last year, so his seat was already a bit warm and you can't blame him if the QB isn't setting the world on fire - he's a rookie and few can do what Stroud did last year, but I think the Bears expect to be in the playoff chase into December. If they take a step up - he's probably not the guy to do it. Lurking in the shadows is Robert Saleh - and the only reason is that he has that Prima Donna at QB. I think Rodgers things he's the coach. Funny how Green Bay's coach has turned Jordan Love into a really good QB and seems to have shaped Malik Willis into a positive. Maybe Rodgers wasn't all that great in his last few years in Green Bay.

And we won this on a bad call too. That was a swing on Parker We'll take it.

What's funny is that we look at JJ's two Toledo starts, which seem unimpressive stat-wise, but several of the guys they've called up this year are unimpressive stat-wise. They saw something they liked in this kid. And now, he's about to get FETTERIZED !

Much of the GOP does not want him to really win. Only the ones who aren't running are supporting him out of fear. Most of the established GOP wants him gone. Including folks like Lindsey Graham. They want to move on, but guess what, they're getting Trump again in 2028 or another crazy MAGA. This IS the Republican Party now. The Lunatic Fringe is now the Lunatic Center of the party.

Just win. Find ways. They'll lose 4 or 5 more times this year. Minnesota sure looks good so far, but we've seen them look good before - for awhile. What happens when JJ McCarthy is healthy. They don't dare bench Sam Darnold, do they? And I tried to make a point about Bryce Young (who the Panthers have damaged) and Zack Wilson. Thrown to the wolves on horrible teams. Look at how Darnold is playing with a good team around him. Look at Malik Willis. Two years of watching sure helped him. Gotta be careful with these rookie QBs. I actually think Doug Pederson's seat is a little hotter than Mike McCarthy. The reason is that it seems like the Jacksonville onwer, Khan, is more reactionary than Jerry Jones, who actually has not been all that reactionary in the past - usually hanging onto coaches for a year or two too long. Any news on LaPorta?

I think some women may be depressed, but ever since the Roe v. Wade overturn, women seem more empowered and motivated than ever to take part in the whole process.
