The video by Joe Douglas shows the pundits are off from what the GMs think. Gibbs wouldn't have made it past 15. The Lions weren't the only team who viewed him highly.

His physical tools suggest he should be a good pass rusher.

With Reader, and signing Lopez and Levi, along with McNeil and Wingo who showed promise last year, I just don't see where Martin fits.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Lions sign Za'Darius Smith after the draft. He did have 10 sacks last years and was top 15 in pressures. He's still a solid number two pass rusher.

Holmes says they see him as a pass rusher too.

Holmes doing a press conference and basically said he's Alim McNeil.

The comp is McNeil, so if he turns into McNeil, it's a great pick at 28.

Holmes has earned the benefit of the doubt.

Does it really matter if you draft him 28th or 46th? The Lions don't draft again until 60th and there may not have been a good trade.

He has an opportunity to start day one since McNeil won't be available at the beginning of the season.

The thing with the Gibbs pick was that no one really denied he was a talented player, it was a debate of taking a RB that high. This guy seems meh talent for the 1st round.
