  1. It's a screenshot right from NFL.com. NFL.com is not clear whether it's air yards or just completions.
  2. Lions are in good shape. Either a top defender will be available, or they could trade down.
  3. I understood the post. KL2 is infamous at mischaracterizing people's posts and being a douchebag about it.
  4. Carolina may have more than one QB they like and would have been fine backing away from the trade and trading with another team. This locks you into the return.
  5. Bears fans had been talking about getting three 1sts from the Lions. This has to be a let down.
  6. Does this also take the Bears out of the running for Chark? They still got a lot of money to throw around.
  7. I think they will pass on Carter. There are still teams further down the line like Washington. I'll bring up Minnesota. They are cutting salary. Cousins is turning 35 and entering the last year of his contract. They are looking at a rebuild. Holmes has not been afraid to deal with Minnesota. Will he do it on a bigger trade?
  8. SF paid three 1sts to go 12 to 3. Substituting Moore for a 1st is pretty good for Chicago. Not sure why Carolina would be trading a receiver when they are drafting a QB. The Bears are set up well.
  9. Probably to trade back but Chicago was a serious contender for one of Will Anderson or Jalen Carter.
  10. Good news for the Lions actually. *EDIT* Thought they would get more to be honest.
  11. 5+ paragraphs of pure snark. I appreciate the effort.
  12. I'm not sure what to make of his comments but I like how Dery says the Lions are loaded at receiver. Chark is a free agent. They have St Brown and after Williams it's Reynolds and Raymond. They aren't loaded.
  13. So Chark may not have been working out with Goff and the other receivers. If he was in Detroit they means he could have been negotiating his new contract. No word on if his wife was in Dearborn buying a blue cake.
  14. The Claypool trade was a clunker. They still have Baltimore's 2nd from the Roquan Smith trade. The Lions and Bears had roughly the same average age and were among the youngest teams in the NFL and the Lions won 9 games and the Bears were one of the worst teams in the league. If I had to rank the teams in the North based on their position right now and not necessarily wins, I would go Lions, Bears, Packers Vikings.
  15. Slay's cap hit shoots up from $9 million to $26 million and then he has a couple void years on his contract. The Eagles don't have a ton of cap space so maybe that's why they are allowing him to seek a trade. They don't save much though by trading or cutting him.
  16. The Eagles didn't hire Patricia. Not sure why Slay wants out. If it's just because the Eagles talked to Patricia he really needs to get over Patricia.
  17. Just a reminder that McConnell made it where the state legislature in Kentucky will pick a senator if it comes to that instead of the governor.
  18. The team to watch out for in the division could be Chicago. Minnesota is not in a good cap situation, they have an aging roster and Kirk Cousins is turning 35 and in the last year of his contract. Green Bay looks to be moving on from Rodgers and their roster had some holes. Chicago has a ton of cap space and will have a bounty of good picks. If Fields is the real deal they are a threat. Probably not next year but soon.
