    The Sutton contract is basically a two year deal. I'm hoping the Anzalone contract is more like a 1-2 year deal. Holmes as been pretty good at contracts that don't commit the Lions for too long.

    People on Twitter saying if we had a QB on a rookie contract we could have signed Edmunds. Being cheap at QB and overpaying at LB seems same old Lions to me.

    I get the sense the Packers and Jets have probably agreed to a trade but it's still in Aaron Rodgers court. Trey Wingo IIRC is big Jets fan so I'd rather hear from someone in Rodgers camp. Probably announce it on McAfee tomorrow.
