Minnesota got a Bengals team with an injured Burrow and the Lions got the Ravens. I also don't know there would be much difference between getting the Cowboys like the Lions got or the Eagles when the Vikings played them. The Vikings also got the 49ers during their 3 game losing streak when they were dealing with injuries. The Lions got Seattle who always has their number. I don't think the Vikings had a tougher schedule.
It's very possible they don't get here next year. What I do know is that this is a good young team with good people running it. if they don't get back next year, than maybe the next year. The window is open for the next several years.
This really feels like the 2006 Tigers. Didn't expect to be there but once they go there they faced an 83 win team and blew it with a comedy of errors from the pitcher.
You can tell Goff was expecting him to go the other way. At that point the play is broken so maybe it's best for Goff to just tuck it down and run with it.
Gibbs fumbled at least once against Minnesota.
The Lions showed they were Super Bowl contenders. Not finishing is going to be disappointing but they showed they belong. They're young and have all their draft picks and cap space.
