  1. In the previous two drafts, he spent heavily on DL and grabbed Sewell and now I guess he's filling in the other positions.
  2. Walter Football compared him to Zach Ertz. I'm kind of surprised they drafted a TE this high and one who isn't a great blocker. I like the pick though, just find it surprising.
  3. Someone needs to due a wellness check on Tater.
  4. I read St Brown will be doing the Lions pick. Not sure which one.
  5. Traded to the Titans. Have to be a QB. I'll guess Hooker.
  6. I was asking who the duds were and you listed Jameson Williams. Already after one year in which we knew he wasn't really going to play year one.
  7. I couldn't get past Greg Robinson when Holmes wasn't GM, a different team, and 9 years ago.
  8. I mean, the whole deal with Williams was that year one would be a lost year and now labeled a dud.
  9. LOL having to go back 9 years to a different team to find a dud.
  10. Who are the plenty of duds? It seems the ones who haven't been injured have performed well.
  11. Seems inevitable at this point. Given Holmes enthusiastic reaction to your replacement and saying you're on the roster for now, it can't be a good feeling.
  12. I was being tongue in cheek. I thought Best was a good pick at the time minus the injury concerns. Best probably would have went higher in the 1st if he didn't have the injury concerns.
  13. I'm wondering where the I trust Brad Holmes went. Guess people trust Brad Holmes if it's a player they like.
  14. James Houston had more sacks than Thibodeaux and Walker combined. By this logic those teams reached when they could have drafted Houston in the 6th round. Hell, the Lions reached by drafting Hutchinson 2nd when Houston averaged more sacks per game.
  15. Tom Peliserro said the Jets were interested in Gibbs at 15. I've seen mocks as high as the Chargers at 21. I'm not going to get worked up if they drafted him 10 or so picks too early.
  16. Could be good for the Lions since teams are likely trying to jump up for Levis. Meanwhile, that Claypool trade could look even better for the Steelers.
  17. Rodriguez has the size to be that hybrid safety/LB. His RAS score was elite except for size. I do like how adding Campbell pushes Anzalone and Rodriguez down to roles they are probably better suited for. There could be some good downstream impacts of this pick.
  18. I think it's also possible they play more 4-3 instead of 4-2 now that they have depth at LB.
  19. I also don't get the arguments that RBs aren't that important when someone like Kamara averages 1,500 yards from scrimmage and around 300 touches per year. Besides your QB, no one is touching the ball that many times (except the center).
