  1. They've even lost this guy.
  2. I think it's more stereotype than slur. It's usually associated with Latinas and black women.
  3. I'm not in the draft a QB camp, but if you are not committed to Goff in terms of beyond his current contract, now is the year to draft a QB. They can most likely do it without having to trade a pick. They would also have the ability to trade Goff next year for picks. If they wait till next year, they would most likely have to trade picks, and the best they could do with Goff is let him walk and hope for a comp pick.
  4. I didn't know it was a thing. The people who support Trump have no room to talk about big booties.
  5. Here's something I've been thinking about. Holmes has had no problems trading with Minnesota. Cousins is going to be 35 and in the last year of his contract. They have a long way to go to get to the 6th pick. What kind of bounty would it take to trade with Minnesota?
  6. I think it would be worse if the Lions won the division, win a playoff game, and then you decide to draft a QB and going into 2024 having to part ways with Goff. If you don't think Goff is your future than what's the point of competing this year?
  7. Yeah but who cares if they are calling for Garoppolo? He's a disposable QB. Goff has trade value. The Lions could still be competitive with Garoppolo even.
  8. It's weird from the party who claims to be about small government.
  9. If you don't think Goff is the future QB, draft the QB now while you have the pick and you can trade Goff since Goff has trade value.
  10. I think it's funny when Trumpers think Biden would pick AOC as a running mate. She hates Democrats and is on Twitter today bashing Biden. Also, she is pretty petite so we know the "big booty" is nothing but a racist stereotype.
  11. I would break it off right away. Every time Goff throws an INT there will be calls for the new QB. We've seen how Goff does when his confidence gets rattled.
  12. It would actually cost more in cap space in 2023. It takes restructuring Goff off the table because you would be committed for two years, plus you have to pay 1st round cap space to the backup QB which isn't cheap. For reference, Zach Wilson's cap hit his rookie year was over $6 million. They can save $12 million by restructuring Goff minus the rookie QB cap as well.
  13. If they do draft a QB, Goff has to be gone within a year. I would trade Goff now and sign Garappolo to a one year deal.
  14. I personally don't care about the origin of COVID. I just like how the conspiracy origin from Trump supporters relies on them basically acknowledging the conspiracy only works if Trump was too incompetent.
  15. They also interviewed CJ Stroud. It doesn't mean they are interested in him too.
  16. So if China was making a biological weapon, it once again would be dependent on Trump being too incompetent to handle it. Plus, China released it within their own borders when they could have easily smuggled it into the US and released it instead of in their own country and relied on Trump being too incompetent with a headstart on the virus.
  17. They had a chance at a better QB than Richardson and more uncertainty around Goff and they still took Sewell.
  18. What mattered is whether the teams behind the Lions were drafting a QB. It literally makes no sense. We're moving on from Matthew Stafford and are going to draft our future QB, but if you trade with us we'll stick with Stafford and change our plans. The Giants weren't taking a QB so Miami had no reason to trade up for Tua.
  19. Sewell ran almost as fast as St Brown. I don't think this team puts emphasis on 40 times. Campbell even said as much. I remember when Holmes was introduced he talked about the Rams using GPS and measuring in game speed. I don't think a slow 40 time will matter if he has good game speed.
