Moseley and Davenport were cheap one year contracts on players who had proven track record when healthy. Rakestraw didn't have the injury McCoy. Mosley and Davenport weren't gambles.
I've seen some say he was a fringe 2nd round pick. We really don't know if he would have been around or not. A lot of people said that about Gibbs and the Jets GM admitted he would have taken Gibbs at 15.
