  1. They have multiple resources. The proposed trade is a 1st and 4th. The Lions still have another 1st plus two 2nd's to address the defense. They have the opportunity to make this position elite. They also project to have $122 million in cap space in 2024. The cap will go up. The Eagles finished last year 9-8 after starting 2-5 and went and traded for AJ Brown and signed him to an extension.
  2. And so will the Lions cap space be different March 15th. They already $10 million. A lot of teams are starting with less. The Packers and Vikings currently are over.
  3. I never even heard of Pinewood Derby Cars and everyone here had one.
  4. Weren't the Lions rumored to be interested in Debo Samuel last year? I know they since drafted Williams but I don't think they would be opposed to trading for a receiver who just turned 24.
  5. I'm not sure why people quickly wrote off going after Higgins. He would be a perfect fit. He's a big outside receiver who can go and catch those 50/50 balls. He would be a perfect compliment to St Brown and Williams.
  6. The Lions are currently 11th in cap space. They are in the upper half of the league. More teams have less cap space than the Lions and the Lions have relatively few free agents to re-sign. The Eagles for example have half the cap space and 18 pending free agents. The Lions are a in a good spot cap wise.
  7. Isn't Florida the state where you can run over protestors blocking traffic?
  8. Not going to happen. Holmes is smarter than to replace a Pro Bowl QB with a QB who only completes 53% of his passes.
  9. Still can't get enough of these videos.
  10. Lions have plenty of cap space. Brockers is gone. Cutting Okwara and Harris would create $11 million. Cutting Vaitai would create nearly $6 million and we haven't even gotten to a Goff restructure which could create another $12 million. These moves without a Goff restructure would give the Lions about $41 million in cap space. Add a Goff restructure and you're looking at $53 million. Ragnow is another restructure candidate. Can create $8 million in space. The salary cap isn't going to stop the Lions from signing who they want. Even if they had the cap space of the Bears, I don't think they would be signing a ton of players.
  11. I'm not even sure non breakable glass is a good thing. Tesla's have issues with fires, what if you're trapped in the car while it's burning and no one can break the glass to get you out?
  12. If that door is not open it has a massive panel gap. The windshield wipers don't even cover the windshield, the bed sides are too high to reach into the bed and there is a reason no one makes cars using stainless steel. It looks like something from a 1980's low-res arcade game or what people thought a car in 2005 would look like back in the 80's. It's as if they took the Delorean and decided to make into a truck and even more unpractical.
  13. I've muted Musk but he has to periodically pump the stock. Also, the Cybertruck is ridiculous and impractical.
  14. I'm genuinely confused. This is not satire?
  15. Now their argument is land area and total murders. I didn't even get into the horrible planning in which Jacksonville is twice the size in land area as New York but about 10% the population. Perhaps it's the reason Florida is the least affordable state in the country. It's not California but the media hasn't gotten the memo yet.
  16. I actually saw on Twitter someone arguing that yeah Jacksonville has a higher murder rate than New York but it's safer because Jacksomville has twice the land area so it's easier to avoid the black areas whereas in New York you can't avoid them. He called it variables.
  17. Fun Fact, Jacksonville and Miami have higher murder rates than New York and have Republican mayors.
  18. I'm kind of surprised of the right's pivot to New York. I thought Chicago was their boogeyman?
  19. I had a conversation about this on Twitter. I pointed out Jacksonville has a homicide rate 4 times higher than New York. Their response was that Jacksonville has twice the land area. I was like land doesn't kill people. Their next response was that New York spends way more on policing than Jacksonville, so I was like oh it's Republicans defunding police and not liberals? Next response was you have been blocked.
  20. It was the 9 year old's fault for reading books about Roberto Clemente.
