I know it's the AFC, but Andy Dalton made the Pro Bowl in 2011 with 3,400 yards, 20-16 TD/INT and a sub 60% completion. Stafford throws for over 5k yards and 41 TDs and can't even make alternate.

Cam Newton made the Pro Bowl over Stafford despite Stafford being better than Newton in every statistical category except for rushing and the Lions had a better record and made the playoffs. I think with Stafford's case the fact that he immediately won a Super Bowl upon leaving the Lions are going to make people re-evaluate his Detroit years and realize he was better than he got credit for and got snubbed for a Pro Bowl or two.

There would have been a lot more workers fucked over if the railroad workers went on strike. I also seem to recall the majority of Democrats voted to add sick pay and it was the Republicans who voted against it.

Matthew Stafford once threw for 5,000 yards and 41 TDs and still couldn't make the Pro Bowl. He made the Pro Bowl in 2014 which was one of his worst years. Pro Bowls aren't a great measurement. I mean, Goff has two Pro Bowls under his belt.

Well NBC called it for Warnock.

Romeo Okwara is also returning. If the Lions don't decide to cut him, that could be another key addition. The Lions also have no significant free agents other than Jamaal Williams and should have a little cap space.

Walker his holding his margin in the rurals but he needed to outperform since he lost the general. Warnock appears to be outperforming Atlanta.

This is looking like it could be a Warnock +5 win.

Read the election day turnout in Dekalb is pretty good so even the election day turnout isn't looking great for Walker.

I will say, I would hire Quinn to be a college offensive line scout. His offensive line draft picks have been really good.

Teams want to get the next up and coming head coach. No one was enthused about the potential of hiring Darrell Bevell. Ben Johnson is young and leading a hot offense. Teams want the next Sean McVay.

Ben Johnson went to North Carolina. The Panthers are looking to draft a QB or maybe they want someone to work with Darnold after what Johnson has done with Goff. I think Carolina is the most likely landing spot if Johnson gets a job. I could also see McVay bailing on the Rams but I believe he recently signed a big contract.

There's a better than zero chance Ben Johnson is a head coach somewhere next season, but the Lions should certainly be in the mix as NFC North contenders next year. Goff is putting up top 10 numbers and the Lions have a top 10 offense. I don't see them drafting a QB.
