Stafford watch (A place for Stafford discussion)
Motown Bombers replied to RedRamage's topic in Detroit Lions
Stafford has his highest INT % since 2013. Goff's INT rate went way down when he came Detroit. Stafford is turning the ball over at the same rate as Goff did last year. Only difference is Stafford is capable of making more big plays. At some point, the questions are going to turn to McVay. -
20 million would be the 4th largest state in the US. We gained an entire state the size of the state of New York in illegal immigrants.

It would have to be after next year. The Giants would lose cap space if they cut him this offseason. His season has been bad. Another reason why Stafford was underappreciated. Golladay was not good at getting separation but good at catching balls in traffic. Stafford can put the ball in tight windows and made Golladay a pro bowler.

I'm actually surprised Foxy has a job. I just assumed he lived in an underground bunker in the middle of the woods and plotted how to kidnap the governor. -
Coronavirus: Already In a Neighborhood Near You

Every athlete I checked from your website did not die from the vaccine. Examples were Hank Aaron who was 86 years old. For one, he was no longer an athlete, and second an 86 year old dyeing of natural causes is perfectly normal. Next we had a soccer player who suffered a knee injury and had a subsequent surgery. He developed blood clots in his legs and had to take blood thinners. Not vaccine related. The one that really told me this was all a farce was Donald Parham who suffered a head injury live on national TV. Not vaccine related. -
Guess I didn't expect someone to make a terrible comparison.

Our CEO took over when the company was on the brink on insolvency and brought it back. They do encourage feedback and the CEO does a video update for the whole company and encourages feedback. It's really been the last 6 months or so where the company has been making bizarre decisions. The CEO is in his late 60's and lives in Florida so most suspect he has just checked out. -

The return to office is coming down from the CEO. HR around here seems to only be used to screen applicants and they do a poor job at that. I've also learned that a lot of people whom they hired from out of state had a clause in their job offer that they would relocate if and when there was a return to office. Hearing a lot of people may resign over that because they were unaware and led to believe their remote work from home was permanent. Ironically we'll probably lose more people over that than a vaccine mandate. -

I don't know if this is directed at me, but I wasn't complaining about wearing the mask but instead I said "who wants to wear a mask 8+ hours a day" meaning people aren't going to adhere to a mask mandate. The real issue is that we have been doing this job for 2 years away from the office so there is absolutely no need to put everybody back in the office again with no vaccine mandates. That will just provide more idiots and family your wife will have to deal with. -

I want to be clear that I would wear a mask for the duration of time in office. My issue is that we have worked from home for 2 years without issue so it isn't necessary to force everybody into the office again. -

Prior to the pandemic, the company was working on renovating the office to be more open and "collaborative" which meant open desks in pods next to each other with no walls or any sort of personal space. Not only could we be forced to return, but we would be returning to a petri dish of disease. So far I cannot get anyone to answer what protocols will be in place. I do know there is no vaccine mandate. I do not believe there will be a mask mandate and frankly who wants to wear a mask 8+ hours? The CEO, meanwhile, is still working from home in Florida. He's near retirement and most people think he has just checked out. It would be comical if our safety wasn't at stake. -
I don't think anyone is saying he is the QB of the future. We aren't talking an undrafted free agent who had a couple good games. We're talking about a former number one pick who had a couple a pro bowl seasons and led a team to a Super Bowl. He's putting up better numbers at this point in his career than Stafford did. There is reason to be optimistic he can regain his old form. If not, he's in that Alex Smith mold where he's good enough to win to where you don't need to rush into another QB.
-
For a QB whose biggest knock is the perception he can't beat good teams or win playoff games. Fact is Goff lead a team to the Super Bowl and played well doing it. Drafting a QB just to draft a QB is the worst thing the Lions can do. I mean, it wasn't that long ago when Goff was the next great thing.
-
It's not like Goff QB'd a team to a Super Bowl or anything.

Looks like my company is determined to return everyone to the office February 1st with no vaccine mandate or social distancing. -
I wonder if Mark Hackle will consider a run for the 10th? That's a competitive district and he has done well winning Macomb County.

Not sure what this data is being pulled from, but interesting. -
Probably the only position on the team that is set is offensive tackle and center.
