  1. I never memorized 13x12. I just take 144+10+2 to arrive at the answer. I remember when I was in school my teacher would say you won't have a calculator in your pocket at all times.
  2. Antonio Brown is having a complete meltdown. He's posting alleged conversations between Arians, trainers etc all over social media.
  3. I don't see the problem with having kids eat outside. It makes it easier for them to flee the next school shooting.
  4. I just realized Aaron Glenn played in that 1997 game.
  5. Speaking of Reggie Brown, I remember reading recently how Willie Clay Ford helped set him up with his own Ford dealership after his NFL career was over. Brown went on to become a successful dealership owner.
  6. Texas has almost the same racial makeup as California. There's a reason Republicans in Texas are panicking and passing voter suppression laws. It will forever be a red state if it remains in the bottom 10 in voter turnout.
  7. I'm telling the 5 million registered voters in Texas who didn't vote to go fuck themselves but I think Greg Abbot is doing a fine job of that. I'll go out on a limb and say more of those non-voters are Democrats. If Texas had 80% turnout like Minnesota, Texas is probably a blue state.
  8. People want to enshrine a Democratic majority because Democrats represent 40 million more people in the senate than Republicans. Republicans have exactly one popular vote win in the past 32 years and yet have won 3 election. This minority government just appointed 3 supreme court justices. Don't you think we shouldn't be led by a minority party?
  9. Diggs will be a free agent. Wonder if people will be fine giving a top 10 safety salary for him?
  10. Texas is consistently one of the lowest voter turnout states. I don't know anyone here who cheerleads for disasters to hit Texas, but when the government starts taking away rights like abortion passing unpopular gun laws, and failing to address their unstable power grid, the people of Texas deserve it. Keep in mind, Texas senator Ted Cruz, tried to deny disaster assistance to New Jersey because it was a blue state. Sorry, I have no sympathy for the pull yourself up by the bootstrap state and the don't mess with Texas.
  11. West Virginia has the most toothless seniors and is also ruby red. If the dentures fit...
  12. I mean, they're burning books, banning teaching race, and purging election boards of people of color. I don't think it is an exaggeration.
  13. Speaking of Texas, I have been watching King of the Hill recently and have been taken by how the Republican party moved from the party of Hank Hill to Dale Gribble. I think Q is Dale Gribble.
  14. And Texas had the 7th lowest voter turnout in the country so it deserves everything it has coming to it.
  15. It also goes the other way. Trumpers want to shit on California when Trump got more votes out of California than any other state including Texas.
  16. I would be all for breaking up Texas and Florida as well. Texas and Florida aren't as partisan as California so I think it would be harder to get multiple red states out of those two as it would be getting multiple blue states out of California. The fact is, I don't think the founding fathers envisioned the largest state in the country being 67 times larger than the smallest state. This isn't about gerrymandering the senate. A Republican president has only won the popular vote once in the past 32 years. Democrats represent over 40 million more people than Republicans and yet don't have that type of majority. I never suggested getting rid of the senate and this was hatched out of the idea of making drastic changes, but states like California and Texas should have more representation in the senate than Wyoming. The concept of the senate is antiquated.
  17. Excellent. We can then break up California and combine the Dakotas and other mountain states. The fact is, Democrats represent over 40 million more people in the senate but do not have a majority. This is minority rule government.
  18. Last time a Washington team had to change their name because the original name was deemed offensive we got the Wizards. Not holding out hope.
  19. One of the biggest things I would change is the senate. No way Wyoming, which has 575,000 people, should have the same number of senators as California which has 39 million people. California has multiple cities larges than Wyoming.
  20. I have Directv Stream. I was the early adopter around 2017 when it was Directv Now, than AT&T Now, then AT&T TV, and now Directv Stream. I was grandfathered in at the introductory price so my package no longer exists. It's basically a cable replacement. It has the look and feel of a typical cable service. I stream with a Roku device. I have at least 100 channels so scrolling through that many can be a chore. They do have numbers so I believe you can get a streaming device from AT&T with a typical remote. The quality is excellent. It was glitchy 4 years ago but have not had issues in some time. It never buffers and it fairly quick to load. The only issue, and it seems to happen on specific channels, is the audio falls out of sync with the video. If I do a quick change to the next channel and back, it's fixed. It only happens on specific channels. It comes with a cloud DVR but I really don't use it. It does have a decent selection of on Demand content. I also got in on the 99 cent Hulu deal so I use that for my on demand. My internet speed is 1 gig but I've been fine using it at much slower speeds. Never ran into data issues. I'm the only one who uses it so I'm not even sure how many streams I'm allowed.
  21. So if a guy with a gun can get the best of two trained police officers, teachers with guns don't stand a chance.
