I'm coming around on Matt Corral if he is available at the Rams pick. He isn't the flashy QB but neither was Justin Herbert or Mac Jones and so far they are the best in their draft class. I like pocket passer. Sure Lamar Jackson is successful but what happens when his legs go? Does he end up like Cam Newton?
It's also the first game for Decker and Nelson is now the 6th OL. I think they were planning on running more but they really dialed the downfield passing back after that deep shot and were mostly throwing screens.
If the Rams lose their only playoff game, does McVay get fired? He orchestrated the Stafford trade and they provided him with a lot of star power. I kind of hope it implodes next year for that 2023 pick.
I would just like to point out that no one else was killed in Kenosha other than the people Rittenhouse killed. Seems somewhat shocking that despite all this alleged crime and violence happening, no one else needed to be killed.
Stafford is 15th in the NFL in salary tied with Joey Bosa. Even non-QBs such as Hopkins and TJ Watt make more than Stafford. Jared Goff literally accounts for more of the Rams cap than any other player and the Rams still have been able to load up with stars.
*Edit* Todd Gurley even takes up over $8 million of the Rams cap and our very own Michael Brockers takes up $2.5 million of the Rams cap.
Matthew Stafford wasn't even the highest paid QB in that game. He isn't even in the top 10 in salary.
Jim Harbaugh went to a Super Bowl and multiple NFC Championship games.
It seems like the Lions Stafford would have ran it into the end zone and lowered his shoulder at the goal line if he needed to. Stafford's decision making seems to be deteriorating under McVay much the same Goff did. What does he do to his QBs?
There will predictably be protests and riots. There will be outrage for the judge who has won every election for about the past 30+ years. Democrats never turn out when it matters but are always down for a good protest.
